I don’t usually leave comments…BUT that was so wholesome and magical and unreal!!! I never thought such place existed, a real dream. And can we please talk about the quality of this footage, especially the one with the squirrel. It was like watching National Geographic!

Yeah - the squirrels in Michigan definitely don't have those big furry ears. Maybe an adaptation to the cold? Whatever it is - so cute!

​@ABigFatCat They are actually two different species! Eurasian Red Squirrels have the hair tuft at the tip of their ears, while American Red Squirrels have a slightly bushier tail.

Where God created perfection first in the heavens and still chose to create mankind. You missed the greatest part of that first page. You take out your anger on a God who died for you and gave forgiveness and a chance to be more than what you are. When I watch many of your videos, my soul heals. Lanterns on the path, sparkling trees, Kristofer's smile and look, a cute squirrel... I melted with love... thank you...🥰🥰

So many special memories watching this. We stayed in the Lerkhytta 14.5 years ago. And I was asked to marry my husband there. Nothing can compare to staying there. For us it was in September, and yes, feeding the sunflower seeds is so much fun.

I live in Southern California, so needless to say, I love the sound of the crunchy snow and the big, bright stars in the sky! The birds and squirrels! At 66 years old I never traveled far from home so I love watching you and others who, maybe learned at a young age that we should see the as much as we can and enjoy life to the fullest ❤️ Safe travels to all❣️

I want to go to Norway so badly. I’m 3/4 Norwegian. I was born in the US in the state of Minnesota that was settled by Norwegians and Swedes long ago and the bloodlines still run strong.

Makes me wish my husband was still alive...we always lived in the country and we'd of loved to just lay and cuddle while watching the animals and the quiet

How incredibly beautiful!!!! I also long for the slow life. I wanted to curl up with a book in that nook until I saw the loft, then I knew where I would be curling up with a book! I couldn't believe how high the tree house until we saw it from the ground.

I love everything about this video and THANK YOU so much for sharing. Cecilia, you have this incredible childlike wonder that I admire so much. I'm the happiest version of myself when I feel that way and with as busy and stressful as life can be, it can be really easy to move away from that. The way you see such beauty in nature, the squirrel, the birds, the cabin, and Christoffer is so beautifully relayed through this video. Thank you for the reminder to slow down and appreciate whats in front of me. ❤

Dear Cecilia, two years ago I was in Svalbard on holiday and I'll never forget that week : the silence, the mistery, tha sensation of belonging to the nature ; Thank you and ...not too many turists in Svalbard !

It would have been tough hauling Grim up and down the ladder. :D The cabin - wow - what a sweet and special place. European squirrels are so cute with their tufted ears. I also enjoyed seeing the European birds. You are a great artist! Someone will really enjoy coming across that drawing in your journal. I didn't know Norway had so few wolves - Sweden not so many, either. I remember Jonna Jinton showing wolves, or their tracks, where she lives. I don't imagine wolves would bother you being around, anyhow. Moose, though...! Your night walk - everything sparkling...and the beautiful silence! I guess, on Svalbard, your silence contains the rhythm of the sea.

Snow covered trees are amazing to look at.
