Our Stay at Amistad Recreation Area, Del Rio Texas
We stayed a few nights at a wonderful campground on the shores of the Amistad National Recreation Area outside of Del Rio Texas. Was able to get the drone up for a bird’s eye view as well as getting some walks and swim time for Lua in. It was a peaceful, restful and reasonably priced park.

So, you did not know the nane of that "little town across the bridge from Del Rio"?...well, that lttle town is Ciudad Acuna,Coahuila. And its population is over 250,000 people,about 5x bigger than Del Rio.Thats where Radio Station XERF is located....if you know anyting about the Border Blasters and Wolfman Jack from the sixties!

Amistad National Recreation Area it is a national park unit

Yes you are correct it is a National Park.

Hey Ramiro, Thanks for watching. I didn't look specifically for areas with swimming in mind as I swim like a rock but there is a picnic area by the water and were families there on the weekends so I'm going to assume that there is.

There were definitely boat launch areas for the reservoir around, perhaps just not there. I don't recall for sure.
