savedfaves yep. It’s a great design and I personally like the keyboard feeling. The magnetic attachments work well and it looks very good. Although it’s definitely not durable. Mines about 6-7 months old and the material is coming around the corners, and I barley take it anywhere.

It doesn’t protect the tablet, it drains the battery even when not in use, it is not durable and long term typing is terrible. Apple’s keyboard is the worst among the big names.

Hammie - that’s what happens when you use a case that is held on by nothing more than a tiny magnet. Call Apple and give them hell.

Great video guys, the Zagg for me with that totally adjustable hinge a winner!

After watching several case reviews before purchasing the new iPad Pro last December, we settled on the Otterbox Symmetry 360, and EXTREMELY satisfied. First time we did not buy the Apple Cover, also excellent, but missing some protection this time around (e.g., pencil) since we expect to keep this superb iPad more than 1-2 years. Really liked the portrait-stand feature on one of the covers in the video.

Brilliant video, thanks! That’s given me some good cases to go check out. :) Just from the video I can see I am going to like that UAG case in the same Blue colour as you have. Brilliant. :)

I have already cracked my screen on my iPad Pro 11. Based on your recommendations in this video I am leaning to the otter box as the best "screen protection" as I had one on my iPhone or years and worked well. Also it has lifetime guarantee.

It would've been great if you all did a durability test on these cases. you know, because of the bendgate.

Someone else mentioned it also but Zugu cases are great. Definitely should have been on this list.

I like this vid and my fav case is the folio case made by apple

the only thing that i don't like about the covers is that some of the materials tend to get sticky. i dont know but it really bothers me :( still, nice video tho. keep it up :)

I like the otter box I have it for my 2018 iPad that has Touch ID and I use the stand for the case I use the side that keeps the iPad facing straight at me while lay down on my side watching videos or live tv with my cable company Xfinity app without dealing with a bad angle like those folded cases do, it can hold the Apple Pencil in the stand part of the case, you can use the other side of the stand case to give the iPad an angel to easily type or draw I definitely recommend the otter box since you know you can have the best protection with your iPad, I have had my iPad and case for 1 year now.

Stm dux plus is a beast

Great keyboard case is the chesona one. Got tpa (carbon fiber) , a great Bluetooth magnetic keyboard, and can become a folio for $29

ugh the one that i bought , the $100+ logitech ipad cover from the apple shop sucks .. it popped out while i was walking with it and the ipad was on the case(case was magnetic) the ipad popped out of its case and led to a HUGE dent .. i need to buy one of the covers in this video for sure .. 😅

So there is a company called “Dunno” that makes iPad and maybe some phone cases. I have one for my current iPad 2017, willing to upgrade to an iPad Pro 2018. This case is actually pretty cheap for how good it is, I once accidentally dropped my iPad down the stairs onto the wooden floor of my house, the iPad was fine. It also has a cover of a Smart Cover case, foldable into a kinda kickstand which I use all the time. $22 on Amazon.

Should I get the UAG metropolis or OtterBox Symmetry??

My UAG cover for 10.5 ipad pro is crazy heavy even with the flap removed. I got a momax 2019 ipad air cover with pencil slot, fits the ipad pro 10.5 perfectly and much lighter.

aabidfaiyaz I doubt audio quality would be very different if you tried wireless earphones and headphones on an iPad vs something like an iPhone. It boils down more to the better product.

TheMartian 32 I have seen ppl complaining that when they use 3.5m jack cable by apple and then you connect it with your normal wired headphone the WIFI connection automatically gets of on the iPad Pro.

TheMartian 32 so far I feel only Sam buds look great I’m not sure how much it cost but it looks/feels better then AirPods and I don’t feel there is anything close to it in low cost.

Please talk to keyboard and pencil usage/storage for each. Just assume we use both.

The best looking and the most functional keyboard case, In my opinion must be the Brydge Keyboard.

I love UAG cases, would be great if they made a case with a keyboard too.

@@danialdunson Thanks, but that is too flat. In that event, I would just sit it directly on a workspace. I am looking for an angle. And I don't want to have to haul a notebook around with me, either. I want a built-in solution.

I love the Otterbox Defender. Between this and Apple Care, there should be no way this thing should bend short of Arnold Swartznegger intentionally trying to bend it. I dont mind thinkness if it provides protection and confort. I like my cases like i like my ladies, i dont mind a bit of thickness and junk in the truck! :P

yes but anyways the iPad doesn't bend unless you abuse it, for example throwing it, or being careless when throwing your backpack

The otterbox case. Does the plastic screen protector interfere with the apple pencil in anyway? I use my ipad for drawing and I want to know if I can remove the plastic if it negatively effects the pencil.

mike miles best case I’ve ever had

I have the Moshi and more recently, the Keyboard Folio. I'm sad that with the Folio, the iPad gets less protection, but the keyboard is bonkers good (well compared to typing on the screen....or carrying a separate bluetooth keyboard with you all the time). I'm afraid this is how I'll lose the pencil though, so cross-fingers! 🤞

Max Canlas It works really well as a case, and in the three ways you could prop up your iPad. The Keyboard Folio is wobblier even (if you’re pushing down hard on the iPad). It’s a real plus having the flap around the Pencil too, using the Keyboard Folio I’ve dropped my Pencil plenty of times, and it catches on to things so like when I’m putting it in my bag it can fly off. Multiple times I’ve wanted to put the iPad back in the case but the keyboard is really something I need most of the time.

I don’t like the iPad Apple keyboard because they wear out. The quality is there but they wear out over time.

Apple Keyboard is expansive but it’s the most polished and beautiful design of all.

beauty is obviously subjective but hey, if Apple can convince you that spending 200 dollars on a thin, magnetic folio that sports a nearly flat keyboard without backlit and the key feel of bubble-wrap, without offering even the faintest hint of edge protection that could shatter your thousand dollar sheet of glass...more power to them.

The first one is fine it’s not that big if you can’t Carry that u may as well leave your iPad at home otter box sucks they are to bulky hate ther phone cases also if you are gonna drop from a skyscraper go with otter the uag is the best or the apple keyboard

Got mine for 2018 12.9 this week. Very happy with it- had Logitech Slim with smart connector for gen 1 12.9. I do have a late 2015 Macbook Pro 15" but have gradually migrated business and personal to iPad Pro-still need for external drives but with IOS 12 I have what I need 98% of time on iPad Pro and Brydge keyboard case really makes it work for me.

You like the other case better but it doesn’t compare to the otterbox lol. You can’t compare apples to oranges.

It is glued on, so you have to cut it out (I used a box cutter). I had one several years ago for the first iPad Mini and that is what I did, and it doesn't effect the snug fit at all.

I don't understand how you think the apple keyboard is a better case than the slim folio pro. It may be a lot bulkier but that's the price you pay for having a MUCH more protected ipad. Not to mention it's a better keyboard at a lower price.

I would recommend to the author give more precise data about the cases. Instead of repeatedly saying “extremely bulky”, or “very light” give the viewers the exact weight in grams and exact thickness in mm. The price should be given as well during the presentation

You can give MSRP prices upon release, or even ballpark prices like "expect to pay over 100 buck" or "about 80 dollars" to give people some idea of context. Especially when reviewing the features of a case, price and perceived value are incredibly important.

the apple keyboard case is straight trash ... bought it when I first grabbed my Ipad, returned it 2 days later. Flimsy bendy keyboard base and terrible keys. Not worth the money. The logitech keyboard case is so much better in every way. don't know how you can honestly recommend apple's in-house case. so bad.
