Thank you for making this video! These REALLY help since there aren't that many options on Amazon, and you going through each case thoroughly without any bias also helps. I decided to go with the ESR Magnetic case since its able to protect the front while also snapping to the back while flat. Would love to have just gotten a front magnetic cover that's also detachable like how Apple used to make then but unfortunately there aren't any options.

Great review. I highly recommend you look at the cases before you start the review, It’s frustrating to watch and wait for you to realize how each case works. Also hard to trust your opinion if you’re clearly only going off of first impressions. Other than that, super helpful.

Indeed. I want as solid input as possible before making a decision. I’ve had numerous occasions of having to return or being disappointed with a purchase, sometimes not being able to return it to the seller. Going with the flow is entertaining, but with lack of know-how and time with the product, it’s almost makes these videos redundant.

I already own the Apple Smart Keyboard and Folio cases, and a UAG case for my M1 11inch, but man those ZtoTop cases are extremely tempting! May have to check them out! Thanks for the review!

The iPad works amazingly the box came a little dirty, kzread.infoUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA no plastic wrap, but the box was sealed and had everything else in the box along with the wrapping, the iPad itself is gorgeous, I got the yellow 64g game storage is good for me along with Socials and school stuff. No scratches or marks came with the charger and box fast speed, and if you are buying a pen get the 1st gen don’t make the mistake I did !!

A fair warning against Fintie's case: It is not made for the ipad pro 11". The top and bottom parts of the ipad don't align with the ipad pro speakers because it was not designed for the ipad pro; It happened to fit since its the same size as the other ipads so the sellers just marketed it as compatible with the pro. If you don't really care too much about blocking the speakers then it's really no big deal though.

How much of a difference does it make for the sound?

ESR for me as i also have magic keyboard too. Magnetic case makes it easier to remove and the flap is what i like as it can cover pencil and when not in used, it can be folded magnetically too. Lastly it is absolutely minimum and light weight.

Thank you for the reviews. TBH none of them look particularly comfortable to hold onto. Presently i keep mine in a clear soft vinyl shell and I think i will just stay like that. Its simple and effective with a side groove for the pencil and no extra flaps falling all over the place. The shock shell looks interesting but reviews on amazon say the screen protector does not stay flat and collects a lot of dust 😒

I recommend three other brands. 1- Spigen : slim and good protection all the edges of the iPad but there is a problem.The Apple Pencil can’t be charged when you put on the edge.Unfortunately I had to cut the case edge to be able the pencil be charging. 2- Nillkin : Very good protection and a bit ticker than Spigen. 3- Seymac : Absolutely the best 360 degrees protection. Double layer & preowned screen protector that amazingly fits the screen. Of course I had to make & cut a hole of the case to be connected with Apple Pencil, but not the whole edge cut off like for Spigen case. The Seymac is a phenomenal case. A bit bulky but definitely worth

My issue with the Fintie case is that aggressive bezel wanted to peel my screen protector off.

I have the Logitech Combo Touch for my 11" Pro, and im at the same intersection. I'm looking for a light slim case for casual usage and just note taking etc....

Which one? The lastest version of the Otterbox 360 symmetry got a lot of negative reviews because the pencil holder was not well designed.

Thank you for the video. I purchased ZtoTop Shock Case on Nov 4. Hope Amazon credited your affiliate bonus :-) Reason for choosing it was that it is most protective, very reasonably priced and has a pink version appealing to a little girl who is not very careful with devices so extra protection that this case provides is very important.

Setting your standards to “realistic expectations” can help when you chose a case. If it’s not the protection is the pencil attachment or the flappy cover or the fake leather feeling or the magnet on the back or the handle jeezzz better keep it I the box it came in. Btw now we know where all the “as is” Amazon items come from

I bought Zugu and it is superior to the others reviewed, IMHO.

I really enjoy the quality (audio and video) and the fact that you're not a content-farm trying to sell affiliate links without actually having gotten your hands on the product. That said, I would suggest in the future that you go through a dry run of all the products PRIOR to recording -- or at least re-record segments where there are issue. I say this because it's obvious that you haven't actually used these products before. With the first case you didn't even realize that the flap (over the pencil) was magnetic in the back so that it wouldn't "flap" and with the second case you didn't realize that you were supposed to use the provided hole in the back to push the pencil out from the case, etc., etc. While some people may argue that it's good to see these slip-ups as a "true first-time reaction," I would argue that the benefit of that is extremely minor and short-lived -- but what remains is a less-than-confident feeling about these cases. I, like many, are looking for a strong opinion, rather than a "unboxing" or "first thoughts" type video. I'm not trying to knock you too hard on this, as I really think you have a good mix of information vs. time spent on-screen and the production quality is good... so take my comments as one person's suggestions. :)

They are not my top 5, they are the top 5 rates cases on Amazon at the time that I purchased to review.

Warning: The ESR really looks great and magnetic is really strong but it really reduce your connection speed. My wifi is pretty average and I can watch the KZread Video without problem without the case, but it keeps lagging when I put on the case. I tried testing the speed and it was 10+ mbps without the case, but it dropped to 2-3 mbps when I put on the case. Just a reminder for those of us who already has slow connection.

I bought this case for my iPad Pro 11 and I was very disappointed. I guess the company has issues with quality control, the Case I bought has no magnetic hold whatsoever. The iPad just slides right off with no magnetic hold

not sure why i was recommended this video, i have no interest in cases. i go raw, no case or protector. but if im packing the ipad with a bunch of stuff in a bag, then i use a cheap case just for the front cover to avoid scratches. i dont even use cases or screen protector on my phone. proving how much i dont like cases, simply they add extra bulk, mostly arent seamless with the device and take away from the feel of the device. anyway cool video, i watched through if any of what was showcased could convince me, none of them did.

@@sebastianvico9507 yes, its a really good case but so are most of these cases in this video are good and would fit specific people. i like the zugu and the ztoTop case for their kickstand and i could use that occasionally, but ive come to realize generally cases are just not for me. ive got at least 5 cases for my iphone and i felt one wasnt good and kept buying another and another, but now not using any. ive got two cases for my ipad pro but not using any. the pleasure i get holding the devices itself is lost when i use a case and the cases add bulk. so i use cases for transportation. i recently bought a new smaller phone because i considered my phone too bulky little did i know it was the screen protector that i subconsciously didnt like, after i took it off now i like it more and use the old phone more than the new one. in summary, try everything and find what works for you. i might get the ztop or zugu case just for that occasional times where i need a kick stand tho.

Just use a sleeve. I never understand why Apple makes great looking iPad backsides and people covering them up. It just does not hold well. Since my magnetic Torro case was ruined in 7 months time because it just was not made to it off continously I went for a nice leather sleeve. And it may not be ideal, but it suits my needs pretty well. Downsides are nog being able to charge when in a sleeve and the occasional need for a separate stand.
