Biggest takeaways: - The most powerful people are the ones that know how to give up power - The more you can simplify it, the more it's available for everyone will resonate - Lean more into the authentic rather than the learned
The raw story telling and being honest about his experience is ELITE. Most guests sometimes hide so many key points, but Dan does an amazing job at keeping it real.
Jack of all trades, master of none, though often times better than master of one. Great episode fellas!
This was incredible, best episode yet. I am still quite confused how they had 2 million users averaging 4 hrs of engagement on the original game of the company and couldn't monetize that.
1:01:38 this is the best lesson for me. Thanks guys! 1:02:49 don't sell the product, sell the dream outcome

Yes, i know this lesson from the quote: "Don't sell the steak, Sell the Sizzle"
this guy is so awesome. actually re-hired people back so they can make money from the zynga deal
Dan, this were amazing insights 💎Many, many thanks for sharing!!
Here is the idea for MFM - bring several MFM guests at one place at the same time to share their success & failure stories for founders. 3 weeks ago I organized the Fund of Funds & Family Office Online Conference with 3200 regs & 1000+ people on Zoom. Like the idea with MFM guests, Shaan & Sam on Zoom? Thumb up. Let me organize it.
The idea of a value-tracker should be incorporated into every app to remind people of the value they are getting. Best idea I've heard all day.
love this guy. genuine passion and zest for life that you don't often see
I’m glad you guys couldn’t get him on until now. The production quality, the seasoned approach and the chemistry between you and Sam may have hit a peek here. Phenomenal episode #NoSmallBoyStuff
wow what an episode, Dan is awesome!
SAM!!! 🤣😂🤣 @ 3:40 When the 3 of you are on screen, Sam up in the left corner starts snacking on a pen like a 5-year-old who stole his dad's pen. I hope you had a drink with that. Pens don't go down smoothly.
Tryna have the charisma of Shaan and the determination of Sam 😈 On my path to my first million!
This was a blast. Very insightful. Thanks
Enjoyed this a lot.
Great episode boys! Another banger for the books
Your content is incredible. Such an inspiration.
Great episode
Did someone say The Wire.......I hope "Omar" was the main conference room
Being him back!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Another great episode
Man, 36:00 the most powerful people know how to give it up. Reminds me of how the best thing you can do is be the most savage person alive and then learn to control it.
Definitely one of my favourites of all time! Really inspirational.
Draw Something was one of my fav games of all time
Sold his TicketWeb company in 2000 for $40 million, but he says in this interview that he was "just doing ok" (paraphrasing) while building Draw Something
one of the best episodes
Great ep! This guy is dope
Shaan rocking the buildspace hoodie ❤❤❤
We're gonna do that with Blue Book Of Gun Values. Maybe not $200m, but def close. It'll be the Kelley Blue Book of Firearms

What's the business model tho Also what's the TAM for guns like that? Highly regulated depending on the state and not easy to buy. I guess
@NotyouraverageYTwatcher

@@markdin2988 lower than cars bc of values, but higher in America than any other country. But guns are regulated a lot like cars, except for specific jurisdications. I think it's better to be in the business of self defense/hunting now than the car market tho, especially in a culture trend perspective.
I’m excited for the day Sam teaches me the Hampton hand sign. 😁
This was exactly what i needed to hear today. Very inspirational
awesome interview
you gotta bring back timestamps
I love this too. Just absolute common sense. That's it. Leading to great business decisions and connecting the dots in reverse ❤ 18:00

DrawSomething. You get a word and are asked to draw the object. The other person has to get guess. You take turns. It was a great game. In fact, it was my fav post nut clarity ritual

Anyone knows why Shaan is wearing that BuildSpace hoodie?
Yoo I'm literally building an AI drawing version of this game right now.
Masterclass on many levels
This guy has strong Jerry Seinfeld vibes.
Building wealth from nothing involves consistent saving, disciplined spending, and strategic investments. Begin by creating a budget to track expenses and identify areas for savings. Prioritize paying off high-interest debt and establishing an emergency fund. As you build a foundation, start investing in low-cost options like index funds, and focus on continuous learning and improving your skills for better income opportunities.
Dan porter is my new favourite person
Love this episode and I love Dan porter! I want to do capitalism like he does❤️
