For anyone curious, this is how I paid the bills long before I ever watched a KZread video. The folks in Europe have been wonderful to me for a long time and I'm very grateful to them. I think I first played in Leytonstone (pronounced Lay ten stone) maybe 18 years ago and they've always been a wonderful audience. Thanks for having coffee with me this morning, I have a train to catch in Birmingham. ❤

Went to England about 6 weeks ago. The Crown in B'ham is still standing as you'll see today, still not being developed yet. Stayed in London (Earls Court area this time) but never have been to that Leytonstone station. That's pretty cool!

'Uncle' Art Satherley worked with Don Law. Art was born in Bristol, my home town in the UK; he moved to the States as a teenager, and was just as vital to the developement of Blues and Country music as Don...blew my mind when I found that out. Those are two stories that really need to be told by a good screenwriter soon. Glad thing's are going well Otis; I liked the song after 'the little girl and the bug' story a lot. Lovely tune.

100%... same, about two months. Don't care so much about country or folk but I'm a filmmaker and Otis has a great knack for both storytelling and cinematography. Don't know 95% of his guests but it's expanding my horizons one story at a time, and that's a gift.
