LACoFD received a call of two people trapped inside the San Gabriel River bed with heavy flowing water and heavy rain coming down
Fire was able to locate the two parties that were trapped and two LACoFD helicopters were also onscene.
Swift water rescue teams arrived and brought out a rescue boat if they needed to but the Helicopters dropped off the rescue team and were able to hoist up the two trapped patients
The LA County fire helicopters dropped him off the patients at South El Monte high school, where they were transported to a nearby area hospital
LACoFD did a fantastic job locating the two parties and it took them about 30 mins to grab them and take them away from something that could have been worse.
unknown on how long they were there in the river bed and if they were walking of lived there in the river bed
