Why has there been no mention of Pistoriu's two dogs barking? If they did not bark when the alleged intruder attempted to gain access to the house, it further weakens the intruder story right?

DEFENSE attorney tries to CONVICT the Colonel around 47:45... and 48:00 written 3/16/14 (3:24 pm) The DEFEN:SE attorney reads a statement but then gives an "I CAUGHT you in a LIE smirk" at the Colonel around 48:00 but THEN, when the Colonel *OBJECTED* and shed LIGHT on the situation by elaborating on the statement that the DEFENSE attorney read, the DEFENSE attorney SNUBBED the Colonel's remark and made it LOOK LIKE it was *UNNECESSARY* to OBJECT to him and elaborate. Yet, the DEFENSE attorney had *JUST* given the Colonel a *BOLD SMIRKING look*, (in *MY* view) indicating that the Colonel was LYING! If the Colonel would have NEVER objected, I feel the DEFENSE attorney would have carried on making is *SEEM* like the Colonel was LYING. At any rate, the Colonel was NOT precise enough in his statement, in regard to him and the other officer going up the stairs together. The Colonel stated that he gave a statement based on *(I'm somewhat paraphrasing now)* 1st person, speaking of ONLY what *HE* encountered. The other officer did the same and ONLY spoke about what *HE* encountered withOUT mentioning the Colonel on that particular statement. We have NOT discovered if that statement is a 1st / initial statement or a statement that was taking during an INTERVAL of the investigation. Roux has a habit of taking things out of context and *PRESENTING* segments of information that he TRIES to *manipulate* into LOOKING like the whole. Nevertheless, this is why EACH piece of evidence NEED to be dissected and articulated by the witnesses and others involved. Also, around 49:00, the DEFENSE attorney read the statement where it stated that the Colonel was there on the CRIME SCENE. So that fact alone, cleared up SOME of the discrepancy that the other officer had when speaking ONLY of himself and what HE experienced, in his report. However, when the DEFENSE attorney read that the Colonel was actually *THERE*, the DEFENSE attorney *MUMBLES* that *FACT* and *SHRUGS it OFF*, as *IF* such fact is UNIMPORTANT and does NOT even MATTER but the DEFENSE attorney JUST got done TRYING to SUGGEST that the Colonel was LYING when the Colonel said that he was present with the other officer on the crime scene. So, *PROOF* that the Colonel was actually there, is *DEFINITELY* important. Nevertheless, the actions of the DEFENSE attorney, ONCE AGAIN, shows how *UNSCRUPULOUS* he is. Also the Colonel does a VERY important thing at the end when he SUGGESTS that the DEFENSE attorney get the police records where they will PROVE and SHOW where EACH police vehicle was and at WHAT time. Such information will PROVE *who* was actually on the crime scene *1ST* and at what *TIME!*

Why is the missing watch important does it change the reason to what Oscar did to his partner?

Yes that is what I would have thought but the the investigating officer that was first on the scene was asked why was there only 6 watches instead of and he says that Oscars sister requested if she could have one and it was agreed that she could? What did she do while taking the watch noone actually saw her take it?

i dont think they kept track on anything to tell you the truth one would think they would examine everything first before giving anything away and have her sign something that she was the one who took the watch after all that watch was inside his house which at the moment was considered a crime scene so i dont see why they are so unorganized ...but thats because we are used to our US system

FLUFF! Don't try to INSULT my intelligence. written 3/16/14 (9:40 am) @Jono98806 So Oscar was SO EMOTIONAL until he REFUSED to tell security to CALL FOR HELP IMMEDIATELY when security called him to check to see if everything was okay. Oscar said to security that EVERYTHING was FINE. Yet and STILL Oscar sat there WATCHING Reeva DIE? and AFTER, (only) AFTER Oscar saw that Reeva was TOTALLY DEAD, the DOUCHE BAG called security BACK and pretended to be SO EMOTIONALLY distraught but then HUNG UP because he was quote unquote TOO emotional. I can IMAGINE Oscar being EMOTIONALLY RELIEVED to see that Reeva was FINALLY DEAD. Reeva being FINALLY and DEFINITELY DEAD provided a HUGE SIGH of RELIEF for Oscar being that she could NOT testify AGAINST Oscar because she is NOT alive to DO SO! Your comment definitely does NOT fly with ME!

Seems fairly despondent and vague for an ex police officer If I were there Id be taking notes from entery to exit Inc individuals in each room as I arrived all relevant info all of my actions and actions of others and key facts. If everyone did that as standard practice all statements could be Xreff and any anomaly realised and analysed for accuracy Police incompetence such as this is unacceptable. Wouldn't see this in UK

Why would anyone believe that chap Botha after he was suspended on suspicion of murder and attempted murder...surely anything he wrote down or gave as a statement regarding the Pistorius crime should be ruled inadmissible in court?

Debi Marion Her phone I think. that was the one with the busted cover, maybe from being dropped? it's also the one OP says he retrieved from cubicle when he broke the door down, so it must have been hers.Cos he didn't know the passkey to get over the lock screen.

***** Maybe he tried to break into it to see who she had called and throw it in a tantrum..how would she of broke her phone? sounds fishy to me her phone being broken! Why no data from phone companies?

Debi Marion Probably only got as far as pressing couple of buttons - maybe that's the sound that made him fire? I think he only got to the bathroom few secs after she slammed the door and locked it. Wasn't much time to stop and think. She wouldn't have known he picked up a gun either cos she would have hidden better... The whole situation obviously spiralled out of control very fast. Shooting was the worst thing possible to do so I don't believe he can have spent a lot of time to think about it tbh. What else she gonna do but try phoning? And what other threat does she have that could possibly make him shoot - when it was so devastating? I think you are right. He might have thrown it as was very stressful not knowing if she had a call that had connected...not knowing the pin...no way to know if police had heard the whole thing? Probably why he put "Reeva phone the police" in his bail, eh. It's the last thing he shouted out before shouting "Get out of my house". Covering himself just in case... He said he checked her phone to try call emergency services on it. But there's an emergency services button on the lockout screen. So i guess that's not the real reason tbh...

OMG I always thought South Africa is a fully developed country similar to people here in the UK but honestly the level of this trial, the level of the language, of the defence lawyer, the judge , it reminds me more of the Nigerian trial than trials in developed countries. Roux has grown in my eyes as initially I thought he has no idea what he is doing. He is definitely going somewhere. I actually quite like him

I agree, he is very clever and conniving. but I don't like him.. He has acid behind his smile and apologies etc etc his let me put this to you's and his needling ways. I don't know.. he is the man to have on your side for sure, but he seems "slimey" to me.. if you know what I mean... Im a South African, living in Ireland for the past 12 years and I can tell you, even I am surprised at how bad things have gotten..

i dont think it is fair to bring oscar to trial. he shot his girlfriend. how must that make u feel. and on top of that these people are bending him over. none of this case makes sence. you got to ask why would he deliberately kill her, and no reason makes sence. not money, pride or anything else. he has prostetic legs he can just walk away, thats makes sence if they had a falling out. why cant ppl just take his word that it was an accident.?
