As a Bosnian myself I can say that you pronounced Srebrenica just the correct way, no worries. They don't make more movies on the topic of genocide because it takes such guts to make one here, considering the fact that it's still such a taboo here on the Balkans. A lot of our movies are about the war however, they just don't usually deal with Srebrenica directly. On that note, if you haven't seen the movie Grbavica I'd highly recommend you do. It's another masterpiece written and directed by Jasmila Žbanić.

I don’t understand the hate for Mank lol. I do think that either Delroy Lindo, Kingsley Ben-Adir, or Lakeith Stanfield would’ve been better instead of Gary Oldman. But as far as directing, Fincher absolutely deserves the nomination! Certainly one of the best directed films of the year. I would’ve loved to see Shaka King on that list as well, but I’m pretty happy with it anyways. Chloe Zhao is definitely winning anyway, so 👏👏👏

I'm not surprised to see Tenet not nominated for Sound especially after watching Thomas Flight's video on it. Apparently, the infamous issues were on account of aiming for specific sound systems like those in IMAX theatres. I heard similar excuses for Solo: A Star Wars Story's cinematography and how it was the fault of the projectionists. In both cases, if that's true, it's still a bad, if not, poorly judged creative decision that should have accounted for what smaller theatres have to work with.
