I replayed ds2 in the last couple of days and this is like a treasure

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually enjoyed and played more hours of DS2 than I did of 1&3 combined and it’s my favorite of the three. Build variety and PVP are unmatched. This brought back great memories.

@@enlil2763 dark souls 1 PvP is jank, dark souls 3 PvP for the longest time the meta was just straight swords and spells in general aren't that good. In ds2 the PvP is pretty consistent, almost any weapon is viable to use. Hexes, sorceries as well as miracles are pretty viable as well

Sad times no watcher's sword or scythe of want

I have watched all of the DS2 Oro's Arsenal videos on repeat for YEARS. Just every once in awhile, going through the whole playlist again. So today, I saw an Oro video in my recommended feed with a DS2 thumbnail and I was like, "Yeah I'll watch some more of his old vids again." And as I went to click on it, I saw the upload time, "3 hours ago." And then I read the title. And I went, No way! Maybe it sounds dumb, but this is one of the best surprises I've had in an extremely long time. Thank you for the video, Oroboro. Loved the content for years. This throwback is just another I'll rewatch for years to come.

This reminds me of playing this game a ton with my late friend. We would watch your videos and play through SOTFS tens of times with a million different builds. Some of the best years of my life. Thank you.

YES, I found this mod too, it has completely revitalised this game for me and i've been enjoying the pvp so much recently becuase of this mod's excellent wex dust integration. Now we just need it for Dark Souls Remastered / PTDE.

@@enlil2763 His phase, combat is more about strategy. What i meant by that is to not miss your attacks, manage your stamina well and panic roll doesn't work like in ds 3.

Finally, the man himself returns to the best pvp in the souls series.

Me and my best friend would always watch your videos and streams Brandon. You and Peeve were some of our favorite content creators, so this definitely brings back a lot of memories, and nostalgia. I'm looking forward to Elden Ring, and hopefully the cool PvP videos you might make for it, like your classic DS2 vids. (Dancing in the Moonlight, Love Train, along with Havelyn are still some of my all time favorites.) Unfortunately, my friend's brain cancer has come back, and his doctors are telling him at best he'll make it to February. So I don't think we'll be able to enjoy Elden Ring, or your future videos together anymore...but I just wanted to tell you how much you meant to me and him. Santa flying to the moon was a joke between us for years. Hope you have a good holiday season.

Oh my gosh this is literally a dream come true!!! ds2 pvp is still my fav pvp. I still play to this day. Oros Arsenal for ds2 are some of my fav videos on yt hands down and gahhh. I just can’t believe it man!! So happy to see you on ds2 again!! Dream come true. Never thought I’d hear “hello” paired with the best wave emote in the souls series again!!

Dark Souls 2 has the best pvp in the whole series, I hope that Elden Ring can get close to it

DS2 will always have a special place in my heart. While my first souls game was demon's souls, DS2 was my first true online experience (I played dark souls 1 last). Co-op with friends for hours on end, invading, brotherhood of blood and fight clubs. This game gets a lot of hate but damn if I didn't have the best memories from this game out of all the souls games. Also hexes and miracles in this game were amazing.

Anyone else hoping for another "CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!" many years later? Just me? I loved that Oro & Peeve series with the perma gravelord co-op. Ahh, the good ol days.

As a person doing some PvP content on DS2 myself, I cannot stress how happy I am that the game still has such an active community. After suffering through the drudgery that was DSR's PvP, DS2 feels like absolute sex.

My friend talked me into getting it since he played DS1 & it was the best decision I made. Blue acolyte mod is such a god sent man, it really has revitalized the activity in the game. You can pretty much invade non-stop if you wish to do so. For blues is even better because now it is more frequent to find invasions using the blue orb. Before you would be lucky if you find someone to invade. Glad that this made you come back to the game too. As many other people have commented, your ds2 videos were always my favorite. They were pretty much the reason I still play the game to this day because they taught me so much about everything pvp related. Thank you for still uploading stuff to youtube Oro.
