Honestly I love the consistent use of Ghibli movie tracks in this video, Drangleic, gives me a darker version of the vibes that ghibli does in a lot of their soft post-apocalyptic settings. Obviously there aren't any ravenous undead or anything *usually* so blatantly violent or dangerous, but a lot of the locations in DS2 have a sense of stillness to them that the other games kinda lack in my mind. People living out their existence despite the curse slowly and inevitably making them eventually go hollow. It's a very somber idea compared to the rest of the series and I really like that you kinda highlighted that, intentionally or not.

Man, I'm so in love with this style of 'how to'. Love those small cinematic moments that just take in the environment of the area you're about to go through, and the music combined with it is so awesome! honestly watched this video 10+ times just for the masterful video editing

I can't even really explain why, but this is definitely my favorite ymfah video. I went to rewatch it the other day and saw it had been struck down and I was so disappointed. Thanks for getting this gem back up.

Its like Hollow Knight without the Focus/heal ability: At first I was like: Sure, not that special! Pleanty of speedrunners do no heal runs no big de- Wait a minute!! No Focus = No dreamers = No HK fight = No base game ending Only possible ending is God Home ending = Boss rush with 40 bosses = Defeat all 40 bosses (including optional ones) in the game first!! Funny how a simple rule change can make such a difference in a game's run.

Bro I searched up Darksouls 2 walkthrough without talking, thinking it was like a no commentary one, this is way better.

All I have left to say is that you're a madman. I'm truly impressed by this challenge and how you did it. It really made me think about how many things there are in this game and we don't use. Also, the strategies to beat the game were absolutely genius. Thanks for doing this

I really appreciate how, in the end credits, you can see that you actually made it to the DLC key area with the parry pit bug. And yet, in the video, you decided to show us some other ways of defeating the problem instead. The effort you go to is wonderful, and your musical editing is always on point.

Ymfah, the Unrelenting would be a better title. Even though he doesn't talk much, he has before, and also he literally does these challenges for days on end, torturing himself and then has to edit it on top of that. He truly is unrelenting. also he doesnt have flinch and has infinite stamina

I didn't have glitches or anything at all, for me it felt more stable than Dark Souls Remastered. But then again I played the Sotfs version in 2020, not the original.

I like how considering the lore of DS2, there is canonically a legendary undead who had social anxiety so severe, that instead of coming out of his shell and trying to talk to people for the good of humanity, he just killed or completely ignored them out of sheer terror at the thought of conversation.

Wow, what an incredible conclusion to a legendary anime series. After 26 episodes, End of Evangelion, and the four Rebuild movies, it all ends with a social recluse murdering a guy wandering around in a filthy loincloth, suffering from dementia. Truly moving.

@@archibaldsutherland177 When you open up a menu like that "Leave" just means to leave the menu. In order to leave a covenant you need to abandon it via Shalquoir the cat or by joining another covenant (technically it's never referred to as "leaving" in game, it's always "abandoning"). So it was a joke about leaving the covenant by selecting the "Leave menu" option.
