Update: Here is step-by-step guide to replace db-killer out of the Akrapovič: bit.ly/removingdbkiller Here is the sound of the exhaust without DB Killer: bit.ly/soundwodbkiller Update 2: I am now in touch with Outback Motortek. They are open to cooperate and it seems I should get their crash protectors as soon as they finish development :) Can't wait for this review!

JF Motorcycles the akrapovic exhaust isn’t worth the cost and isn’t that much better cosmetically. Removing the baffle is stupidly difficult and ruins the warranty. There are better, cheaper alternatives. .

Hey JF. Just curious of how much louder the Akra exhaust is with and without DB killer compared to the stock. Also, did you end up installing the Akra headers and the Rapid Bike unit? (I have it on my AT with full Arrow and it works nicely).

I like the pipe, top box, heated grips, risers for the GPS - not the seat because I'm 5'8. You dumped the engine protection bars. The bike has a chain drive so I'd definitely add a centre stand. I wish it had a shaft drive like the Super Tenere.

Really enjoying your Tenere 700 series. So few objective reviews online these days. I had planned to replace my KTM 950 Adventure with the Africa Twin, but this bike has got my attention. We have to wait another year here but by then the accessories availability will be better from third party suppliers. I would love to see a test on some more technical off road terrain as I like doing some real adventures. While I'm waiting I'm left with riding my 94 R80 gs. It reminds me of my Kubota tractor. Industrial, not exciting! Teple pivo je horsi nez studena nemko!

Great video as always, thanks a bunch! You very briefly mentioned some longish rides you did, to the Ukraine I think? One big question mark for me is how comfy is it on a long, touring trip; both for the rider and a pillion? I can't find any reviews that talk about this. I'm considering getting a T7 but if it doesn't have 'long legs' then I may get the yammy tracer 900gt instead, as touring is more important than offroading for me. Ideally, I'm really hoping the T7 is the swiss army bike I'm looking for: I'm convinced it's great for commuting and offroading, and just need some evidence about touring. Thanks dude, keep up the good work!

Hi, amazing channel you have here. Honest reviews and personal opinion speaking of every bit us as viewers would like to be aware of. Please continue the good work! I have just one question about the Rally seat. I have 1,93cm as you, weight less of around 90kg, do you think the normal seat is ok or should I change to the rally seat for the extra height? I don’t do off-road, mainly for road travel and for touring is the purpose. Also, which seat is better in comfort for the extra passenger? I usually take my girlfriend with me. Thank you in advance! Oh, and btw, I am also an owner of a 2015 triumph scrambler same colours ;) all the best! Bonus question (if you have time): my first option is always the Africa Twin, but after seeing your videos and you have the same height and bought the T7, now I am a bit confused which one should I buy tbh :)

Ahoj All, I have the same bike, same colour and the good news is, that for the factory rack all MONOKEY boxes fit. I have a cheap KAPPA box - plastic - for everyday rides. 46 liters. Cheap means less than 90 EUR. Also the Outback Motortek was mentioned. Nice stuff is coming in October, but you can find videos on KZread about the projects. Thanks for the seat update! I am a hardcore rider. My longest ride with just refueling stops was 1900+km on a bike, but this one is really hurtful. I think I will have the seat rebuilt by a company here in Hungary. Much cheaper then the factory rally seat. Ride Safe!

I really apreciate if you could (whenever is possible to you) tell something more about the weight of these accesories. Specially the rear pannier. Outback motorteck and SW-Motech crashbars look like proper protection. I'm following them cause I want to know about its weight. I also heard that Yamaha's crash bars are about 5kg, so we'll compare. SW-motech rear pannier also looks good and lighter than Yamaha's.

Tive uma Tenere 660z (1.78cm/70Kg), e achava muito confortavel mas depois de 2hs pilotando tinha que parar pra esticar a coluna! Hi there have you seen the givi or kappat Crash bars? If yes, whats tour opinion abaut them? I've bought the givi ones for 122€, also the top box rack at the same Italian store. I'm wondering also to buy the mivv exhaust. Do you hear it already? A hug

The motorcycle is a flop. Too heavy and with a bad centre of gravity. I prefer ktm 690 or husqvarna 701.

First of all, I respect your choice and opinion. That's fine. I admire singles in offroad, but I would not like to travel on them anymore. Africa/Tiger/F850GS/Multistrada are 30 - 40 Kg heavier, that's why and probably thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of people will choose Tenere. I am not affraid, this will be a bestseller equal or more than Africa twin worldwide.
