The two machines in question both possess distinct advantages, with one exhibiting a more aggressive approach. However, this aggressive nature may result in increased fatigue and discomfort for the user. My personal experience with Trinity machines has been multifaceted. Conversely, while Sprayborg is an exceptional machine, I would unequivocally recommend the Orbot Vibe 10x as the better choice. It is worth noting that while a Trinity machine may enable faster completion of tasks, prolonged use can lead to fatigue-related challenges for long-term operators. I owned a Sprayborg and sold it! Now I have Karcher Radiant/Orbot Vibe!

The Trinity vibrates more because of its much more aggressive agitation (that’s actually more gentle on carpet). Nothing to do with build differences. You should’ve seen which machine would clean 100 sf of carpet the fastest. It wouldn’t have been a contest. The Orbot motor is weak. Get it in dense carpet and the rotations slow, sometimes almost stop. The Trinity keeps rotating at the same speed under just about any load. Head weight to VLM is like PSI and flow to HWE. Very important. The Orbot has about 38 pounds of head height. The Trinity has about 70 pounds of head weight. Head weight gets you a better and deeper clean. To get decent head weight on the Orbot, you must add the weight kit, which is a hassle and one more step. If you leave the weights on, it’s makes the machine heavier. I have extensive use with both and sold my Orbot a few years ago. I hated the cleaning performance of my Sprayborg until I got the weight kit. It was a night and day difference. In my opinion, there’s no reason to choose Orbot over Trinity, except for the looks. Orbot machines look amazing. I love the idea of the new Lio, but based on other Orbot models, the Lio likely has around 25 pounds of head weight, on a 14” driver, that’s not enough to dig into carpet. You can add the weights, but that’ll drag down the battery even faster. Fun fact: Orbot doesn’t recommend using the weights on carpet because they can bog down their motors. I heard that directly from Orbot in sand Diego several years ago. The new Lio competes with the Trinity Odyssey. The odyssey has a 13” driver with around 55 pounds of head weight (no weights needed), plus the much more aggressive orbit and the rotations never slow. But, I’ll admit the Odyssey is pretty ugly. That said, I’d bet a thousand bucks the Lio will not touch the Odyssey on cleaning speed and cleaning depth, it just can’t. Just my 37 cents.

Hey Rob. Thanks for this video. I use the Vibe. As you know, all machines have their perks and disadvantages over each other. I am pretty sure the goal of this video was to share info on both of them side by side with a real user of both. Much appreciated. I do a lot of commercial cgd during business hours with the vibe. It is very quiet. Now if I did a lot of night work where I could make noise, then I may go with a more aggressive and faster trinity. Like you said, I think which one you buy comes down to how your company is structured. Hey, maybe the best option is to have both, just like Moroni.

No. Tamping actually works against the cleaning action. Tamping…absolutely not. Actually I would say the complete opposite. Orbot pile lifts as it agitates from all angles. Tamping (packing) would cause carpet fiber crushing.

Anyone who's actually used both knows that the trinity is superior in build quality, speed of cleaning, and level of cleaning. People should ALWAYS check the used tools market first when looking to buy a machine and see which machines are people ditching and selling...you can almost NEVER find a trinity used and orbots are all over the place for sale. Just my 2 cents, great video as always!

Thank you. We try hard to not be biased and as we travel around the country why we seek out those who own both. Maroni seems a nice honest guy who just related his experiences using both machines. If he’d had more time I’d surely have ran them side by side. BTW, many have mentioned it seemed bias but no one has stated anything that contradicts the points brought out. Not one thing which is odd. Feel free to expound.

Definitely a one sided video. If you don't like the trinity then next time make the video why you believe orbot is better And not video to just to bash one. I love tm chems but sometimes I really doubt the equipment and sales tactics you guys do. They come off very cocky. Maybe you're just getting to big and losing quality?

Not sure what else I can say as I mentioned the “fit & finish”. Plus I tried to let him say how he felt so as to not come across biased. I don’t feel we’re cocky, rather more confidant. We try to be as fair as possible and that’s how we built the highest amount of reviews in the industry. We also use an independent review company so we can’t change the reviews. The reviews show we try to be as fair as possible.

Tell me you’re biased by telling me you’re not biased😂. You really don’t know much about the difference between the two machines

Our “little forum” is the largest in the industry. The machine is heavy. I’m surprised they haven’t put removable weights on it by now. You’re entitled to your opinion. Most can see there is a distinct build quality between the two. Orbot is the Tesla and the other is like a Ford. Both will drive you there but one does it smoother and with style, the Orbot. Now I know there is a cult following due to green handshakes by KZread influencers with manufacturers. I also realized this video would leave some upset. This is not about your opinion or mine. It’s about this man’s experience.

I'm a carpet cleaner who only has a Sedan, and I'm thinking about getting an orbot but I can't seem to find any videos where anyone actually folds it up, or shows the range of jobs it can do and it's frustrating to come across all these videos online that say "comparing the orbot vs _____" and then they're literally just looking at the parts with the machine turned off. Not just TMF but across the internet.
