To my knowledge, we're the only country that does this. Although I'm definitely not siding with the teacher here because this is deceptive and as a queer person, this shit just makes things harder for us. People already think we're indoctrinating kids and I think this is like the once instance of someone actually doing that. I just want to live my life in peace. As an ex-educator, it is a silent rule that we dont bring our personal belief, political views or anything personal into the classroom. Whatever is brought into the classroom should be just purely education or basic moral values such as respecting one another. To hear this teacher said that her students could pledge their allegiance to a flag representing LGBT is a serious violation to teacher's code of conduct or at least here in Asia. I dont know about anywhere else but if she does that in Asia, she will be fired immediately and legal actions will be taken against her.

I want my kids to have the best teachers not ones who stuck it out, fire under the radar for 10 years and now can literally groom children and not be fired) We should demand that politics be removed from our schools by dismantling the far left teachings of teachers unions. We need to stop playing games at our futures expense. My kids were very lucky to have MANY wonderful teachers who truly taught because it was their calling in life however the bad teachers put an ugly stain on the good ones.

Very clearly, it is wrong to take down the American flag ....and then very clearly promote a gay flag. Wrong from any angle or argument. That being said, this teacher is NOT taking anything seriously, and when it comes to the American flag, laughing about it could very easily be considered treasonous. This IS VERY SERIOUS. I think there is only one correct way to handle this. During the formal review of this incident, this teacher needs to be sitting in the review. She does NOT need to be asked any questions. SHE has proudly created her own video AND published it ...giggling and laughing throughout it. The review board should be very serious in their review and when it comes time to discuss what needs to be done, they should all be a part of the decision making process and should ALL BE GIGGLING AND LAUGHING THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS OF DETERMINING HER FATE🤣🤣. This should take at least five minutes to table all the concerns by everyone ....and everyone should be giggling and laughing throughout🤣🤣 .....until they reach their decision .....and the person telling her that she is fired, should light up laughing 🤣🤣as she tells her she is now fired and that she will have a public record accordingly .....and tell her to collect her things and leave ......all the while laughing 🤣🤣at her until she is out of the building. TIT FOR TAT. 😎😎🤣🤣 .

@@Mountainlion118 I was talking one time in the staff room about how COVID got into a Hutterite colony and then got back to Manitoba (the province where I live) when they were travelling back home. Living in the community and being Mennonite myself, many Hutterites and Mennonites are admitted conspiracy theorists (I’m not one of them.) I was talking with a colleague about how the majority of Hutterites normally wouldn’t change their lifestyle even if COVID came into the colony due to that, but the Hutterites that brought it home actually did. They isolated, started wearing masks and they delivered food to each other’s homes instead of eating in community which is a very rare thing to see and we have to commend them on a drastic change that they’re not used to. When I said this, there was a teacher in the staff room interrupting me when I started saying “they isolated….” She said to me “uh oh, no, no, no I’m getting triggered. You said the word “they””. So then I said to her “ I said “they” meaning the majority of Hutterites, not “they” as a derogatory group of people.” I don’t think there was anything wrong with what I was saying personally. In fact I was actually commending the Hutterites in that community, but apparently even the word “they” when I prefaced it meaning “the majority of Hutterites” can trigger someone. It’s absolutely ridiculous that we can’t communicate without anyone being offended. It’s gone too far when I can’t even say the word “they”.

She has the right to her opinion as an American. That doesn't give her the right to indoctrinate children in this country to hate America. She should be removed from her position and have the freedom to find employment elsewhere. Maybe she should go to Afghanistan and teach the pride movement there. I would imagine she would quickly appreciate the freedoms this country offers then. Freedom's many generations have sacrificed and died to protect. No flag should be flown above the American flag in this country, period. Having other flags in a classroom with no American flag is the same thing.

That’s the typical American response, it’s possible to like a country but be uncomfortable with it shoving American propaganda down your throat. Your mentality of if you don’t like a specific thing leave is a destructive mentality and implies you should run away from your problems. You also forget that it’s her classroom unless the head teacher confronts her directly she doesn’t have to listen to a kid who will acknowledge it for at most 2 minutes and then ignore it for the rest of the day or entitled parents who think the schools should revolve around what they want in a classroom. The only place in the world this is even a problem is America.
