Sex isn't "assigned" at birth. A doctor makes observations about the physical anatomy of a baby and records them accordingly. Period. This idea that sex is "assigned" as if they had a something imposed onto them against their will is ludicrous. Soon they will be claiming that being born a human was also "assigned" to them when they really identify as a bird instead. That's how insane all of this is.

Nobody is saying sex is assigned at birth. Sex is a biological trait based on your chromosomes. They differentiate sex and gender.

Sex technically is assigned at birth. If you take a look at intersex individuals, there are circumstances where they weren’t able to tell the gender by the genitals of the kid. Thus, the doctor just assigns the kid to be one sex or the other and then the kid can grow up confused. The mind, body and genitalia have the possibility of changing in different ways based on the levels of hormones that the body has. This shows the plasticity of gender and sex as a whole. Thus, stating that the sex is assigned at birth is a more inclusive term for intersex and trans individuals

there already is something like that. It's called otherkin, simply put they are people who believe that they are animals reborn or traped in human bodies, but thankfully they do not get as much coverage as the rest of this bullshit.

This feels almost satanic. I'm autistic and as a child, I found it difficult to make friends with girls and so I hung out with the boys, played soccer, climbed trees and dressed like a boy. If I'd been privy to this sort of nonsense at a young age, I would of chosen to be a boy because being a boy at that time would of felt like a safer option. Thank God nobody groomed me, as they are grooming children today. I grew up to embrace my womanhood. I still get on with men better than women, its the same for lots of women, but I'm all woman.

Association with one gender doesn't make you transgender. You can still be cisgender and prefer associating with the opposite gender; likewise, you can still be transgender and prefer associating with the gender you were assigned at birth. [Does this mean you assume non-binary people identify as such because they were either antisocial or social butterflies?!]

Come on…… the astronomical amount of children who are now transgender is absolutely ridiculous. It’s indoctrinated into their minds at a young age. There’s a study going on that proves over 85% of boys who like girly things end up being simply gay. If your child thinks they’re the “wrong” gender, then you take them to a child psychologist to find out WHY they feel that way. I read an article of a little boy who kept saying he wanted to be a girl, so the parents took him to a psychologist. Come to find out since the parents had a baby girl that required more attention (because she’s, ya know, a baby) the little boy thought his parents loved girls more and therefore thought becoming a girl would make his parents love him more. Of course they were able to sit him down and explain that they loved him the same as his baby sister, her needs were greater being an infant, etc. The boy understood and from then on had no problems being a boy. Imagine if a doctor jumped to the “solution” of gender reassignment surgery and the parents never understood the “why” behind his feelings. He’d live his whole life feeling like his parents never truly loved him until he changed his gender.

Flat out stated, "you might be transgender". I can't say on social media what would had happened to that "psychologist" if it were up to me.

Sadly, in Canada now, it is illegal for anyone (including the parents) to say anything other than to affirm the child in how they feel about their sex and gender, or risk 5 years in prison. That should be a wake up call for everyone as to just how far we've fallen.

Know that this was not an overnight change in public education. While there has been more changes in less time as of recent this move to teaching ideology to kids has been slowly introduced over several decades. In the early 2000's Millennials were being experimented on in public education thru ideas like everyone gets a trophy and their are no winners or loosers. This was sold as being for improving a Childs self-confidence but all it did was prevent kids from failing and learning how to deal with that and come back from it so now as adults they are incapable of dealing with anything equivalent to failure and they expect everything to be given regardless of effort because that's how it was when they were kids. This indoctrination provided a generation of people who would be more open/susceptible to more egregious ideological changes in public education like teaching gender ideology. The more recent changes have been so excessive that we now see them for what they are unlike in the past when we would dismiss them and say "its no big deal". A line must be drawn and there can be NO MORE compromise for compromise is how the Woke/Authoritarian Left has moved the center so far to the left that we are where we are.

I think what you said is important, but on the other hand you never had gender dysmorphia which is the cause behind transitioning. For a lot of people with thia condition, transitioning was the best treatment. There are people who transitioned decades into adulthood after trying everything.

@@lilmamagc I agree to an extent because a percentage of people with gender dysphoria spent decades trying to identify with the gender they were born with and never found healing until they transitioned. There are people like this, and it's something we have to accept. That does not mean I agree with puberty blockers or medical interventions for minors. These are two things, and very careful deliberation and therapy is needed before any such changes.

This makes me so terribly sad for the future for my kids. They are such smart, critical thinkers and I’m so grateful but it’s the rest of the world that I worry about.

My son is going to be born later this month or possibly early next month. I'm TERRIFIED of the thought of sending them to school.

When I was around 5 or 6 years old, I wanted to be a boy because I thought boys were cool and fun to be around. I liked to dress tomboyish, I liked to be the « dad » when I played « mom and dad » games with my friends. Turns out it was just a phase that I quickly got out of. And now I’m a woman who’s absolutely happy to be a woman. Imagine if my parents concluded that I was transgender 🤦🏾‍♀️ They say that 5-6 years old is the age range during which trans children start to have gender disphoria. I can’t imagine the number of children who were in the same position as me but whose parents took a little too seriously. Not saying children with real gender disphoria don’t exist. But it’s extremely rare and it’s so dangerous to confuse it with normal exploration and curiosity children can have about gender and the opposite sex.

Now these are proper Moms. What's terrifying is that a huge proportion of the art community are lgbt activists. They are pushing this stuff every day and their followers are liking and supporting them. Additionally they are very aggressive about it. A lot of these ideas are coming from parts of society that are intoxicated by drink, drugs and promiscuity. These people aren't able to think straight or follow an argument or civil discussion, and yet they form a group of people that can force this kind of trashy literature on other peoples' children. One solution is to rid society of drugs, crack down on alcohol abuse and teach God's values as recorded in His Word. It's pretty much useless to tackle these issues without addressing these underlying causes.

But I was referring to art portals such as ArtStation, DeviantArt and Instagram. Also artists who show their sketchbooks on KZread- there are a lot who feature this content. If you search for 'Sketchbook Tour' on KZread you can see what people are drawing.

I was aiming for a career in art but I could't justify it. What was I producing? Coding is more worthwhile. I did visit ArtStation the other day and was shocked at how creepy the trending art page had become. Clearly peoples' thoughts are not in the right place.

You can homeschool with a pod. I'm a private teacher and many parents are linking up with other families in their community and pooling in for a private teacher and an agreed upon general curriculum. Homeschool doesn't have to be isolating for the kid.

When I was little I loved playing with trucks and super heroes and barbies. Its funny how they base all this on stereotypes on what they think boys and girls should like. Just let kids be kids.

Why are kids being exposed to this kind of material? Forcing people and now kids to someones mental delusions is the craziest thing that has been happening. These sick people just keep pushing the line

Every parent has the right to raise their children the way they believe is right. But that child is not something the parent owns nor has full control over. It's up to parents to teach their children about these topics. I definitely agree with the mom that doesn't segregate her children's toys based on gender. Doing so is idiotic and could potentially lead to issues with perceived gender norms down the road. Let children be children. But please, parents, if your child says that they are uncomfortable with something, even their idea of gender, please listen to them and be understanding of how they feel.

That was mega creepy, the part about the princess boy's dad telling him how pretty he looked in a dress. This whole thing is an abomination.

I would sue the publisher.

I grew up as a Tomboy. My brother was a Tomgirl. We neither one liked dolls (I liked Polly Pocket). I just can't believe doctors are forcing this on children. Think what you want, but that's literal abuse, and it's scary that doctors would force it, so thankful I never had to go through that

The human brain isn't even fully developed until the age of 25 so any surgery performed before then puts the child in danger of making a wrong decision for his or herself.

We don't (or shouldn't let our children drive, vote, smoke, drink, have sex, go shopping alone, leave them at home alone, choose their own bedtime, what they're going to eat all the time, or if they want their seatbelt on etc... but we are told we should let them choose something with life long ramifications?!

Does someone remember having a normal childhood? I do.

I'd hope that the Jazz book continues to the part where he realizes that his body is so badly damaged that he will likely never have a decent life as either gender. He is distraught but his mother hammers on him that his unhappiness is his own fault. But that part is probably not in the book.

My suggestions to parents about the books introduced here. Do not buy these books or check them out from the library. There are too many other great books that children can learn from and that are enjoyable and age appropriate. Don't allow yourselves become agitated or frustrated by these insane things. Because aside from the agenda being pushed here the left is also hoping the content will cause discomfort leaving us frustrated. It all falls under their big Chaos Project. Let,'s not give them the satisfaction.

Don’t show us women who aren’t mad from the get- go that there are books about sex for elementary schools. These women are the REASON why the schools are being forced or coaxed into this crap. No child in a “ third - world “ country has to look at this stuff. Not even schools in places where there are 50 kids to a class held outside. Not even in war- torn countries. Let these perverts try selling their books in ANY of those schools, and you’d see MOTHERS and FATHERS being Mothers and Fathers!

What if no particular characteristics is related to a particular gender. You can be a girl with short hair who wears shorts "a tomboy" girl and is still a girl. Nothing wrong with that. And it's more fluid. A feminine boy is also possible... Just because a boy likes princesses and fairy tales does not mean they are a girl. They can be who they are regardless of gender.. its restricting to give one particular preference to one gender..

I hope people seriously take this.. Those word is hekla confusing.. Like how is gender be a guess.

HAHAHA! This is great! They miss something though. In the beginning, the first book, they read "it felt like a lie" What kid speaks like that? I can't do, or say that, becaus it feels like a lie. when we are young children we may not know how to express it like that but we figure it out. tell you, those where the exact word I said when my mom asked me why i never wore dress. i was about 15 at the time and i told her "it felt like a lie" Putting on a dress was a lie to me and it hurt. ( this was before i came out) i am a transgender man going form female to male. ( for context)

When I was 10 run in to the bathroom the moment church ended to put on pants. When I was a kid I always wanted to be the knight to be the man in every story no matter how well the woman where written.

A kid cant even propperly understand this stuff and probably gets more confused.. I have all sympathy for people who might not feel good about themselves in their body. Im pretty sure it must suck and i respect that they want to change or wear different outfits. I have no problem with that at all. But before the age of 14 or something, its just sickening to push that into their heads. Instead of teaching this, they should teach those kids that every person has to be respected no matter what gender, colour, small or tall, fat or thin. Transhumanism is also a bigger picture, that most everyone no matter who or what part one plays in all the things going on, most people don't even realize. Look into Transhumanism.

Why don't the parents of these trans kids deal with their own problem? Why do they have to make their kid everyone else's problem? Little girls should be able to go to the bathroom without worrying if a little boy walks in. Boys, likewise, should have times when they are hanging out just with boys. Why do normal children have to suffer for someone else's mental disorder? And that's what this is. I was diagnosed with OCD when I was 17. My parents didn't put the burden on the school. They went and got me help.

I didn't see any problems with the last book. I'll always tell kids, no matter what they are wearing that they are beautiful. And I don't see anything bad in that if a little boy wants to wear a dress and play a princess, who cares? They're kids for god sake. If they can wear a Spiderman suit, why on earth they can't wear a princess costumes?

In this day and age combined with all the “rest” of what they teach. It’s basically a recipe for bad outcomes. Why push a child into things like that. We’re always told Children are highly susceptible and have age ratings all over etx. Meanwhile we got schools being like “Hey its ok be a princess , maybe you’re just A GENDERFLUID SPIRIT” or whatever. Its just confusing, unnecessary and plain wrong.

I'm a trans male (Ftm) I personally agree with these mothers about these books being for young kids, I think kids should grow up with kid things like toys, if they want to be who they are when older then let them be, but younger kids need to have fun and not worry about stuff like gender it gets confusing but I can disagree on some things.

While I don't agree with exposing kids so young to these topics, transgender is real. This topic along with religion should not be discussed with children as it's pretty much a form of brainwashing. I know because of how I grew up, it was really difficult to use critical thinking to see if a religion is BS or not. Took me like 10 years to be comfortable questioning things.
