how does it look on a 135" rear projection screen?
what I need is two of these blended on a round wall. Possible? Any alternative suggestions? Help appreciated
why doesnt optoma put optical output on their ust projectors, i want to connect a sonos sound bar
Sorry has anyone mounted this on the ceiling to get 200 inch. Or tried it at 200 inch from the floor? Is it still in focus? Any help or advice is appreciated.
is this better than xiaomi 4k UST model ?
Unusual question - what happens if it's much further from the wall, a huge image? or is there some issue.

At a certain point you will not be able to focus the picture.
Can you please review the new LG short throw 2017 model shown at IFA

Hugh Turner Banks it sucks I had it and returned it... For the price if it was 700 market it would be a good deal but not for 1200

mikey bojangles was that the PF1000 or the new one with the lazer light source
What about input lag for gaming?
Just got one before few months...remote control doesn't work. I tried few more remotes and nothing. I guess it is faulty IR reciever. Or maybe bad firmware. Can't find anything from Optoma.
how would this be for home theatre use

very good.
Turn down the volume of your intro music!!
So the real question is: Viewsonic LS820 = 1080p laser driven ultra short throw ~$3,000 vs. Optoma ZH400UST = 1080p laser driven ultra short throw ~$3,000 ...which do you get and why?

I can't forget something that wasn't announced at the time when I wrote the comment...unless I am from the future...but then why would I settle for "old" technology. ;) Ignoring that, yes, it would be good to include that in a "round up" review, though I like 3D so the epson would have been a deal breaker for me. Went with the LS820 and BCP120. Family is pretty happy with the results.

Not sure elite had the Aeon CLR 120” when you got the BCP120 but if they did why the BCP120?
3:39 Composite video, not component.
I wish they made a feature poor version of it, maybe with lower specs, for 1000$. There really is a lack of UST options

Look for school/church surplus sales. I was able to get one of these with only 4 hours on the bulb via ebay for $400.
Someone tell optoma to offer a laser home theater projector with decent blacks and hdr.

vagomaniac Right!!!
Under 3k maybe. They are nearing beating a Standard TV.
Xiaomi UST projector is under $2000 and has 5000 lumins at 1080p

13randon 13axter thank you. Now is that white brightness or color brightness levels? All the KZread reviewers have raved about how bright it was but I guess it just a little brighter than the lg UST. Now I’m wondering that it seems that lasers with the same lumens as lamp based projectors seem to be much much brighter.

Lumens and ANSI lumens aren't same. This is much brighter. Xiaomi is max 2500 ANSI lumens.
Umm... Umm...
