It's impressive the way they can use an existing mold and just change it around to make another Transformer, I'm reminded of CW Hot Spot and CW Onslaught, they way they reversed their vehicle modes, very cool. Can't wait to see Drift's new car mode in the movie, I loved the Bugatti Veyron, but the Mercedes looks pretty cool as well, nice review!

I think they wanted to make him red, because maybe they wanted to be a homage shattered glass Drift. I could be wrong though?

Hasbro is saving me a fortune with their recent releases. There aren't many that interest me. I'm sick of robots that just lay down and fold a few parts around them.

The story behind why the color change happened was that Bay had originally placed the order for the black and orange veyron, but someone offered more and this was for the very last veyrons in production before they began developing and producing the new model. Bay had to settle for the black and blue veyron as it was the only one left.

I like the look of this. A lot of people complaining about the shellforming but that's the best way for the current movie designs and also allows better articulation.

The Bugati that Drift is, got decommissioned in 2014 that's why also

Drift is a Samurai. Why isn't he an Asian car? Like a Toyota? Mitsubishi? Subaru? Honda?

I believe the TLK drift head is the same from the helicopter AOE drift but the head is scaled down to match the deluxe class figure
