So many Bumblebees and no sight of Onslaught, Mohawk or Dreadbot...

I don't see what the big deal is comparing a new Bumblebee figure with an old Bumblebee. It's nice to see how the figures have progressed.

They put it on the wrong arm so you can replicate the scene where Bumblebee shoots Barricade while driving down the road.

chiefmaster 4201 also worthless. That was one scene. In the films we see bumblebee use his gun on the right arm every time. The only exception was aoe when he used both arms, but he looked different in that film and had different weapons.

FYI the arm cannon has been seen on both arms, he just uses his right arm like 90% of the time

You know what, I've given up on finding these things. All the stores I go to still only have wave 1 and Leader Megatron+Optimus Prime. So, Hasbro get the middle finger from me.

Why the hell couldnt we get this figure in wave 1 instead of the repainted version from the 4th one

We really did have many versions of Bumblebee over the past 10 years, the Wave 1 TLK is just a repaint of the AOE version (but with a better paint job), but this Wave 3 one is very nice, I really like the Camaro mode and his robot head is very accurate and nice looking, this is one I want to add to my list! Don't know if anyone has ever collected all the movie Bumblebees that have appeared in toy form, but that's a lot of yellow on your shelf! LOL Nice review!

Wave 3 is apparently hitting stores in the U.S. now. I can't wait to get my hands on this Bumblebee. Sadly I haven't seen any Wave 2 deluxes in any stores :(

Question for you Optibotimus, would you recommend buying things online like this from out of the US? The reason for me asking is cause I'm debating on whether to get this bumblebee from a seller in Taiwan, and I'm not for sure how long the shipping time usually takes from a country like that.

I pretty much hate dealing with Taiwanese sellers. The ones i've dealt with take forever to ship things, have terrible communication and never bother replying to emails. Case in point...this figure took about 3 weeks to get here. Because they took 2 weeks before shipping it. Once it was out...it got here fairly quick....but that's not thanks to them. Same with Cogman. I ordered him a week ago. He hasn't shipped yet

Did they make 2 version's of this action figure.?

The side that the cannon is on is kinda disappointing but not too much, in a way you might be able to create the one scene in TLK when Bee shoots barricade with his cannon in vehicle mode. It's executed very neatly but it would be nice if both arms could use the cannon, all in all. Great figure!

I tried to transform it to the car but it just broke or exploded

optibotimus pls respond I bought my bumblebee and when I opened it the one part on the windows was gone so I can completely transform him. Do you know if it’s a normal thing or a defection like with dragon storm and hound?

Weapon storage wise I always leave the weapon to the side unless I’m using stealth force mode. I basically made it look a bit like the stealth force from the movies and since the weapon plugs into the side it also helps the look

So does it come the hammer or not?

It would be nice if instead of removing one arm there was a tab in the gun that plugs into his hand but it covers up well and has a flap that closes up the hole on the bottom it would mean you could have accurate arms and you could have an easier way to use the weapon

Could have sworn i saw bumblebee switch his cannon to either arm in revenge of the of the fallen

What's the point of having the Wave 1 Bumblebee. Simply replace that with a character like Onslaught or Mohawk. Give those guys a toy.

they should do a last knight repaint and a bit of a remold of masterpiece bumblebee toy

You need a dark background for brightly colored figures like this or Twin Twist. They fade into the background.

I disagree completely. This figure i could see perfectly fine. Same with Twin Twist. If i used a dark background, dark parts on the figure would "fade into the background" too. Plus it's not possible for me to use a dark background with my setup. Thanks for your opinion though

optibotimus this one, it was mostly in car mode, the edges of the car are washed out. But with Twin Twist, any of the white parts washed out and faded into the background. It could just be me. I'm sorry if I was rude, I didn't mean to be, I was just trying to offer a suggestion. Great review though. I've been waiting for a good review of this guy. Most of the others I've seen have left things out or not been as thorough.

A lot of the figures have that. But it doesn't really matter.

I got a shit one where the tabs wont tab in the back is fucked and the doors went lemon kill me

looks like the TLK Voyager class figures won

The only thing that Bumblebee really needs in toy form now is to have his wings and back compress further into the body. Looking at the MPM-03 Bumblebee it looks to completely be possible after some further engineering and gutting out of body. The TLK Bumblebee looks to be a great rendition of the character and clearly takes much inspiration from the MPM-03. In fact if you consider the difference in Engineering quality between the two figures in relationship to the vast difference in their costs, you could make the debate that TLK version is the superior figure. When that Bumblebee Tribute 3-pack comes out I'll definitely be buying this guy.
