You are right first line was best but those toys are rubbish, nice colors, good headsculpt but thats all.. no design, paintjob or quality in material alll rushed👎

I think he should have been a Japanese supercar, like a Nissan GT-R. Might as well go with the full motif.

Zachary Bergman I highly highly doubt it will be an real fixing like BvS since Michael Bay isn't a person you can really expect to make a movie with a great story and even if he doesn't write them he still directs them and still fucks it up by making a big explosion fest. He's only good at making explosion effects not complex stories or plots. Unlike BvS's cause it wasn't super bad you atleast had a story that was easy to follow and was straight foward even if the editing wasn't the best not like Last Knight which is just a super mess and took bits and pieces from popular movies trying to make it look cool or work. So I really doubt an extended cut would even fix or add on to it.

IP Films Really?! I didn't know that the writers of this movie wrote the first Iron Man movie. Holy shit how then can this movie suck so bad if it had the writers from Iron Man like come on! Michael Bay seriously did fuck the whole story up by not going the way the writers wanted it. Which is why Megan Fox and other actors said "Fuck you" to him and left since he's an arrogant douche by not even directing well or leading the actors.

David Marrero one of the screenplay writers from Iron Man was on The Last Knight. From what I can see it's also the one with the shittiest writing credits..

The color change actually wasn’t that random they originally wanted drift to be red and black in the age of extinction movie but they couldn’t get the Bugatti in those colors because it wasn’t readily available that’s why they switched over to the Mercedes one because it was more affordable and two because they were able to get it in the color that they wanted and give draft of the color they originally intended to have him in

Yes i do know but still the studio can't just spend all the money on the cars.they need money for the actors, special effects, film crew etc. They don't just buy one car they buy like 5 cars for each transformer.

SamAnimates Nah，the movie cars are sometimes borrowed from the companies. They returned the Veyron after filming AOE.

Keep in mind people Drift was never a Samurai in the first place, He was a Cybertronian survivor later became the deadly Decepticon name Deadlock, then became the Autobot name Drift in the iDW Transformers Drift Graphic Novel. Plus, He never had an Asian Accent.

Fact:Drift was actually supposed 2 still be the buggati with orange as the secondary color with Orange rims but, Michael be couldn't afford it anymore so he got a Mercedes ben

the reason they switched him from the Bugatti was because that car wasn't available to the public, (too expensive or only a few were made or something) so in order to sell to the audience a vehicle they could actually buy, they switched him to a Mercedes.

I think they used the colors red and black to make it look more like a samurai, but the different car is just weird

i dont think you can store the katanas on his back like AOE ver, only the daggers can be stored. You can check out Emgo316 review on this drift, he mentioned about the weapons storage for the robot mode.

Impressive sculpt, but the severe lack of paint hurts the figure. In fact, the clear plastic painted black eats up the majority of the paint budget.

Michael Bay wanted Drift to be red in Age of Extinction but they didn't have a red Bugatti and it wouldn't be done in time for filming if they would've made a new one.

Looks like Hasbro invested more quality in the packaging than the actual toy. ROTF figures are still the best ones quality wise.

John Wayland im actually 14, I like it of course because the explosions. even though optimus prime was nearly in it he is still a bad add. Mark wahlberg is a great actor. I've been going to see transformers in theaters for10. I will always line transformers even if their not the best movies

Actually Michael Bay wanted Drift to be a Mendez but the company did not have a blue one so Michael choose a Bugatti instead.

Am i the only one who has noticed that drift should have way more black in robot mode? In the movie it was mostly black apart from red highlights around edges of armour etc. It kinda annoys me how not a single review of this figure points this out.
