I love how Doug comes over the hill, sees mommy and ambles right on over and bumps her. Who needs personal space when there's Doug?

I love how Keith and Michael are like "whaaa? We weren't doing anything!" as soon as you walk up 😂

I love how Karen and Stanley are like, “ahh yes, time to wet the mop!”

I really admire your dedication to the care of these animals. You make it fun with all the imaginative comments and props, but behind it all these animals are blessed to have such a caring person to provide for and love on them.

One nice thing I can say about Karen; she truly seems to love Stanley.

Silkies are sweet, fluffy, adorable little angels. Brad is no silky. Clearly he’s been eaten from the inside and his cute little body is now inhabited by some evil alien .

Imagine all the real physical work that goes into keeping Useless Farm running: Feeding everyone, cleaning everything from emu poop to donkey sh*t, mending fences, keeping the flys and mosquitoes to a minimum, animal medicines, always building pens, fences, gathering eggs, fix ...anything and everything else, then taking care of your personal needs and that of your husband’s, and on and on and on. On top of all that- the time it takes to film, edit, upload, and come up with creative ways to pull all this off. Pure genius. Amanda - I salute you.

Love your short clips, but this mini movie was SUCH a treat! HR has GOT to do something about Brad. Bullying is just NOT tolerated.

loved seeing the emus in the water. have never seen one just lay down in the water or roll to their side. i. could watch quite a few Emus soaking/ bathing videos bc their behaviors are so quirky and cute to watch. thanks for sharing this.

I dunno. I think it would be fun for like 20 minutes, and then I might be like, 'dude, give it a rest.' The other problem is, if you can hear him clearly, it's probably just a matter of moments before he's attacking your ankles. He's like, stupidly determined with that. A genuine attack chicken. And chicken claws and beaks are no joke, despite the fact that chickens a like 2 or 3 pounds and a foot and a half high. Their toes end in 1 inch razors and they don't just peck with their pointy beaks, they bite, too.

@@JohnSmith-mk1rj my top rooster is wonderful taking care of the chickens but he patrols the yard and loves to pounce from behind. I pretty much have the same relationship with him that h she has with Karen. Most of the time I can avoid but when he hits it’s hard. The only reason he’s not stew is because he really defends his flock 😂

Love seeing the ducks playing. Reminds me of keeping ducks when I was growing up. I discovered 2 things of note 1. Duck eggs make excellent sponge cakes and 2. If ducks accidentally get into some plums that are on the ground and a bit fermenty they get drunk and stagger around. Very entertaining and the ducks were fine the next day.

Thanks! I lived in LA for over 30 years, but I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania. This is my favorite kind of morning traffic. I have to borrow your “thief of joy” line, I’m going to use it on the cat next time he attacks me for no reason. We live in Northern California now, where it’s quieter, but I still can’t have anything more than a cat or a dog. So I live vicariously through your videos, and I enjoy them so much. 🥰🙏🏻💖

I loved watching the emus in the pond. I live in Australia, their homeland, and have seen many, but I have never seen them in water like this. So educational. Fascinating!

With Karen's hard work, I personally feel she deserves a big raise or a least a hefty bonus. Her job is brutal and the hours are long. She works way too hard all week long and, even works harder on the weekends. 😉

The last 14 min were the most relaxing of my day. Thank you for letting us just watch and listen to the beauty of the farm and your wonderful animal family!
