This is a video about Tactics when ledgering with Worm Baits. An off chance trip to the Beach fishing for Sea Bass. Bait digging was a priority on this day as I wanted a stock for my fridge. I wasn't sure if I was going to fish or not, due to the fact of limited time to get in position for the best time of tide. We arrived 2 hours before low and hurried along the beach to set up. Water had clouded up again so bait was the only option, we did have a little go with the Savage Seeker at the beginning to no reward. I assembled a lite estuary rod and a pennel rig set up with lug bait. Size 2 /0 hook, 3 oz lead and 15lb mono. The sea was calm enough for this set up, we fished at 20 -30 yards. This neap tide wasn't my preferred tide however the sea temperature was a good 11 degrees and a nice rolling sea. No weed, minimal crabs/shrimps.
