Maggie, Faouzia can actually sing very very low in some songs . So don’t dismiss her as a soprano just yet. She is in fact a mezzo soprano.

As great as her vocals are, I am just as impressed with her songwriting. Truly an all-round artist.

I love Faouzia's voice, so beautiful tone and her fast vibrato is very amazing and unique😘She is 20, she wrote the song, she is beautiful and she can even play a Piano and Violin......Love her😍😍😍

She's definitely a soprano, maybe because of her raspy makes her lower register sound that loud so people think she's a mezzo. She's a mixed among Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson and Adele. She's definitely gonna be an international super star because of the soul in her voice (pretty much like Adele).

BTW, she is still going to university. She plays piano, violin, guitar, percussion & she recently learnt how to play cello. I don't believe we can compare Ankudinova, Jordan or others for that matter to Faouzia. She is an accomplished musician and songwriter of great talent unlike the others. She does not sing covers, she sings her own songs and her vocal ability is second to none. Moreover, the lyrics of her songs have depth and meaning, it's not commercial mambo-jambo. She already is a real pro and some might say a genius. Her song and video of "Minefields" with John Legend is litterally a masterpiece... Too bad that the music industry does not understand how gifted and unique this lady is.

@@maggiereneemusic IMHO Ankudinova and Jordan were better singers when they were younger, they stood out... Now, not so much, their voices changed and their original material is not as catchy as Faouzia's. One cannot be singing covers all the time. They need original material that will top the charts but it is not happening for them as we speak. Difficult to break through as a new artist without a true "hit" song.

Her agility is god tier as well. You should check out her most recent cover of “desert rose” by sting. The run in the middle will leave you shook.

Faouzia is an amazing singer or should I say musician - she always makes a song her own The is an amazing interpretation of a rap song 'middle child' where she also changed some lyrics (no swore words) - but her vibe - flow and interpretation of the song amazes me - but don't miss the end ;-) (when she was 17years old) If you would love to react to her older power songs 'bad dreams', 'born without a heart', 'exotermic' Her vibrato was much higher when she was younger - also more passion - now she is much more controlled There are 3 very interesting new videos one on Covernation where she covers 'paparazzi' and on The eye session where she sang 'hero' and 'wake me when it's over' both of her newer songs - just a background piano a bar chair and faouzia.
