Often the way. There’s been genres/bands I wasn’t a fan of for ages, but then one track shifted my view and i got it and became a fan. Plus my tastes expanded as i grew up (still expanding in my late 40s).

There are tons of genres of metal. Soft rock and alternative at one end, black and death metal at the other, screamo and grindcore branch off, and the major heart of it for decades is thrash. I bet you'd like power metal. Power metal is very vocally driven (look up anything by Dan Vasc or Blood Brothers by Bruce Dickinson) Speed metal would probably be racket to you but you can appreciate the intensity and skill it requires to play it. Don't forget technometal and numetal (Who doesn't like at least some Linkin Park? Not many.) You'd probably love Return to Serenity by Testament (it's not stereotypically "loud" and headbangingly energy filled.

I remembered Alexi Laiho, who did this cover on Children of Bodom haha Almost 3 years without this great talent

This is the greatest modern remastering band Ive ever had the pleasure of hearing. The drawn out excellent riffs make it superb to drive to - just love that clean electric guitar sound. In my GTAV playlist for sure.

It was mixed emotions. From being surprised to enjoying the music. Leo is crazy. I like it.

One of the best guitar solo from Leo i have seen! Gratulation, very fine!

The riff at the end is brilliant
