I’ve talked to many Uber drivers who’ve said the same thing, Uber does nothing to protect the drivers. It’s customers can lie saying the food never came, driver was drunk, anything and it’s always the customer who’s assumed to be telling the truth and the driver at fault. Great way to keep drivers.

I've never used his food delivery, grub hub and Doordarshan are always good folks. Never problems with the drivers but the restaurants more than once have canceled an order when the driver was at the restaurant

I am an introvert but it’s a small blurry image of someone’s face with the first name. I can understand the stress but snoop isn’t banging like that anymore and even if a crazed fan took this seriously I don’t think they’d even be able to tell who the driver was from that video alone. In fact getting on the news about it only draws more attention. The Uber driver seems dramatic and way to worried.

I will agree on both of those. I'm kind of weird I guess I don't take photos with people like if I went someplace in Middle famous person I would never get a photo with them. And also I have photos of myself on social media but that's because I put them there. I hate when I say something stupid on there and I become one of those posts ... you know the ones where you get mocked and everybody that you don't even know gangs up on you ... as an introvert I think that it's against the rules and it should be illegal

Not "the Snoop!" 😂 But seriously, I have delivered for Uber Eats and Postmates and can tell you there were many times I went to places that weren't safe. And one time, I refused to get out of my car because the area was sketchy. The customer understood and still tipped me. As a customer, if you live in a nondescript, sketchy, or difficult to find location, do your part and make it easier for the person delivering. Don't expect them to come to your door.

Yup I just started to walk out to the road and meet them. I live in a nice place but the way the mail boxes are set up they sometimes end up delivering it to my neighbors house. I guess they don’t look at the house number sometimes on the front of my house. The drivers seem to really appreciate it when I walk out and don’t make them drop it off also.

After watching the video my take is this; The driver has placed himself in more of a public eye by going to the media. There was no view of his last name. Snoop just went a little overboard with the review posting on social media. The driver just needs to chill and get a route he's used to going to. He was simply afraid and panicked because he was lost.

Dude gave up his privacy when he became an Uber eats driver… how do you think snoop dogg got his information? I’m pretty sure anybody that orders from Uber eats if they got him as a driver they would know who he was if they had to file a complaint about their food as well… this situation was pretty much about bad communication but once again snoop didn’t have to leak his info and put him on blast especially since he knows how his followers will react to his complaint and the Uber eats driver is only trying to sue to take advantage of the fact that it was snoop dogg that filed a complaint to make money off of him… so the only genuine person I see in this situation is snoop not getting his food and is using his rights of freedom of speech to vent to how he felt about the service he was provided from this dude 💯💯

I am a Uber Eats driver. Normally I text "on my way" and "I have arrived" when I am at the destination. Usually you have to take a picture when you are leaving food at the place for the person to grab it. If you hand the food directly to the person you can skip the picture and say "delivered in person." So the Uber Driver is lying and trying to get money. In my eyes everyone's name is Sue.

He clearly doesn't know where to drop anything off, plus judging by the fact the location was behind a gate he'd have to leave it in the middle of the street surrounded by god knows, a busy residential street, a city block, unassuming industrial district, middle of nowhere, really doesn't matter wherever it was. No, they can't just drop off an order on a sidewalk or try guessing the right gate and hope you find your order, shit idk about you but I'd be happy to see free dinner in the middle of the street conveniently bagged for take-out

I called uber thirty minutes before my class. The driver stated he was three minutes away. The following text I received driver canceled, but he charged me for the trip anyway. Good thing I still have the text message since drivers are faulty.

Happened to me three times (!). The LAST time I literally watched the Uber driver EAT MY OWN FOOD in their car, in front of my home then marked the food as "delivered" and pulled off!! Needless to say I got my money back but Uber drivers can also be in the wrong, too. Don't sign up for a job if you're too sensitive. I said that...

You have to be on the Uber Eats app while the driver is reaching out to you. Snoop Dog never responded. The 8 minute timer expired so Uber’s system canceled the order and paid the driver to leave since theres other orders that the driver needs to fulfill.

The e system is not automatic. You have the option to cancel after the time limit. Dude should have called instead of wasting time texting

His speech, demeanor, and way of handling this is screaming "I want a payday!!!!" No one has threatened him or anything and he is immediately usisng the 'ol "fear for my safety" money phrase. The driver was being difficult on purpose because it’s a area with a high Black population. Snoop was giving that man instructions and the driver could have easily left it at front gate, send a picture and mark as delivered. Driver is a racist immigrant pulling the let’s get rich in America and sue. What did Snoop order? I’m curious. Doesn’t anyone know? I saw him at Dirt Dog on Figueroa last summer. He’s a nice guy.

The driver should start a youtube channel now and share his experiences. I feel him on this one, customers give terrible directions and act like they own you lots of times. He was probably doing his best to deliver the food.

If you dont recieve the order they refund the order. You have until 1hr after the delivery to change the tip to 0 if you hate the driver.

i've had hundreds upon hundreds of doordash delivery over the last 3 years and only two incident were i had issues but they were minimal and mostly the restaurants fault. sometimes customers tend to have "terrible experiences" if they often tip nothing or very low. i generally tip 5 bucks minimum no matter how close the place is. add a buck per mile, another buck if it's late at night, a buck for bad weather. so yeah tipping well actually pays off. food most of the time is warm or hot and arrives very quickly. again hardly any issues with nearly all of the delivery. you big complainers are probably *_TERRIBLE_* tippers 🤣

DUDE. I do Door Dash on the side since 2020, like 600 deliveries. ALL u had to do was deliver the food and do your job and this could’ve been avoided! I know L.A. and O.C. U know how many industrial areas I’ve delivered to late at night!? Be a man, get out your car and deliver the food. If u don’t like delivering at night and getting sent to areas like that, then simply just don’t work at night! Dudes being waay dramatic, 🙄🤦‍♂️ it’s in his own head that it’s not a “safe place”. U take a job like that then u take what comes with it. Delivering to “sketchy” areas late at night are things that happen. 600 delivers is not alot and tell that to the guy that was killed and dismembered while delivering to a customer in Florida last week! You're looking for props for being brave.. it can be dangerous these days.. im a driver for 2 companies with over 7000 deliveries... so im pretty sure you don't know what you're talking about.. if a driver can't find location and waits 8 minutes they are allowed to leave if customers doesn't answer text or calls. So if you were a driver you'd know that.

they gave my phone number to a customer who thought they had left something in my car. They had not left anything in my car. The guy wanted me to drive back to his house so he could look for himself. I was very afraid and I told him I would not drive back to his residence. I also reassured him he did not leave anything in my car. It was just a really unsafe situation.

I’ve seen that insta post from Snoop and I didn’t even know the guy’s name, forgot his face and moved on with my life. Like? People do that everyday no one cares enough on social media aside from posting your opinions on it. But everything’s just fast media exposure, the next day you’d forget about it. One time uber (ride) was called for me and the driver just drove by and didn't stop and he kept going down the street and announced he was lost because he thought the area in Cerritos was a bad area.. it was an industrial business area!

Agreed he should not have blasted this man on IG to all of his followers. The driver felt nervous pulling up to a what appeared to be closed business gate. I used to hate having to deliver to gated businesses when I delivered pizza. Would always take an extra 20 mins to deliver.

As a gig driver myself I’m am aware that you can see the location of pickup and location of drop off before accepting an order. Inglewood isn’t safe but driver chose to accept that order; other option he could have simply sent a picture of food left at front gate and mark it as delivered. Driver seems to be giving rude remarks based on the area. Don’t pick up a delivery in Inglewood if it’s so unsafe for you.
