Actually, you’d be surprised on what people complain about and report to the police. Apartment management offices always complain to the police on everything from people hanging out in from of the buildings, people suspected of selling drugs, loud dogs, parking issues, non tenants using their laundry facilities and trash dumpsters…etc.

Dissension in the ranks. Sometimes good cops turn bad because a supervisor or management directs the officer or officers to pick on a specific group or do something illegal. The officer follows the order because he doesn't want to get fired. A similar incident took place within Culver City PD. That was many years ago and I hear they are a good department now.

As soon as somebody is non-cooperative (like this lawyer, even though he was right about his rights) is a non-verbal sign of suspicion and the police alarm bels go off!!!! policemen are trained to watch these things. imagine its a drug dealer dumping illegal substances claiming to be a lawyer, the police dont know. they only see the guy is acting suspicious and is non cooperative... so that why they want to check him out more! no act of racism there.... if you think so your discriminating yourself by going in a victim role! there is no difference between people... if you think there is or you let "media" believe its there like in this video. then you become a victim of your own imagination! just be free of this narrow perspective... let the chains fall of! be enlightened

People riot when cops murder with no recourse because THESE things are so freaking common. Stuff piles up and eventually blows!! Most of these cops are affected by the sociological effects of inherent Racism that Black people are bad. Those bodycams don't even enter their minds until after the events have taken place in which now what they are saying is a total contradiction to the events that have just transpired. These same cops never treat white people like that look at how long it them to catch Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy Jeffrey Epstein and they had the evidence to prevent them from committing more crimes, but because they were white they went unnoticed for decades and when they did get caught it was a shock to many that they could even be associated with the crimes that they had committed and look how law enforcement treated them like they were the pillars of the community upstanding citizens, and a Black man, women or child can't even walk in those communities, if confronted by police officers the first thing is do you live here or is that your car. All of this is apart of their inherent Racism development in their homes and communities even if they went to school with different races and ethnic whie minorities they grow up thinking that they are superior to Black people as long as they have a gun, to kill you, because their always afraid of because of inherent Racism that teaches fear instead of understanding.

Current police training....You need to be the kind of person who can shoot a doggie in the head & the fingers off of a toddler because the most important job skill to have is the ability to break an old woman's arm and go home to your family to eat a spaghetti dinner with no worries.

It has nothing to do with cop training. I hate when I hear in the media, that cops need better training. Then why more White cops does this kind of harassment and not as many Black cops? Why are White Cops more likely to kill an unarmed Black or Hispanic Man ( teens and children) than Black cops? They all received the same training. It’s not about training at all, it’s about racism. Many come on the force with racist bigotry against Blacks and Hispanics in their hearts before they start, and applied for the job just so they can mistreat and kill those that don’t look like them.

Regardless of the ethnicity of the cop or 'suspect', THEY expect YOU to 'calm down' no matter how they speak to you, violate you, or what you were going through when they arrived. It's a universal constant with them, they take personal offense if you aren't respectful enough. So I do wonder if they're trained to grasp the concept of being professionally repugnant. Same way we need doctors but hope to NEVER have one touch us.

Charges should be filed against the cop who tazed the young man who was just standing there texting on his phone...........The cop harrassing the young men who were actually from the town, where he wasn't...the hate in his eyes...he's a dangerous hate-filled individual and shouldn't be in a position that facilitates his hatred. Those young men were very mature in how they dealt with him.

You would think the so called "greatest city" in the world would set the example and be the first to lead the charge for police reform right??? Hell no!!!! NYC is a very corrupt city so it is no surprise that the police union (as so called public servants they should not even have a union) is a very corrupt organization!!!!!

The problem is most people live paycheck to paycheck or close to it. So sueing them will result in no money actually rewarded. They should have to pay a percentage though so that way they get hit and the victim still gets payed most of the award.
