This is just a quick continuation of a conversation about finding Sail Away Ladies in Double C tuning on banjo. I also added what I could remember about the F version that Dwight Diller showed me about 16 years ago, which I think really sounds beautiful on the banjo...in that video I accidentally said the 4 chord would be the shape guitar people would call "G7," when I meant "D7," just so I don't inadvertently spread any terrible false rumors about guitar chord shapes. If you watch this, let me know what happens to ya...unless it's too bad to tell about...just kidding...lol...but it'll be good...clawhammering will always have a good outcome, 100% of the time. I highly recommend it. Sorry about all the disturbances.

Geez-Louies Peggy, what an absolutely great vid. Full of all kinds of banjo playing goodies especially useful to a nube clunker like me. And yes, while I do love this tune in C on the Fiddle and those chords in the banjo C tuning, I went wild when you went into the G modal to F trick. Absolutely fantastic sounds commin out of that there banjer (BTW - thanks to Dwight as well). There’s sure a lot in here, enough to keep me scratchin my head for the next couple o days. But, don’t think it will be anything a few re-watches can’t cure. Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video. Oh, and tell Button’s his singin is just a tad off key. lol

Thanks for all those kind comments Rich. Mostly I do help it'll at least point you in some self-guided direction with Sail Away Ladies on the banjo. You sounded really good fiddling it. Let me know what happens!
Only just now found this video because I was messing around also making a video and then it took a really long time to post it! It was a very cool video that you posted and I completely relate to the dogs barking because the same thing happens here! I should try and learn that tune because I rather like it. Hey, thanks so much for sharing it!!!
