The brothers did not know. I think Ariel knew that he was "into" things that his brothers were not; things that are beyond sick.

I pray for these brothers, their lives forever changed thanks to the media for plastering their faces everywhere..innocent til proven guilty..I feel for them they had nothing to do with it which is why they were released. I pray for the 4 victims also including Baby Jocelyn..May God be with you all x

Nah I'd say leave them alone. Theyve been through a lot and have to carry the burden of what their brother did. Look at how much they're hurting here. I honestly think if they did a 2nd interview they would just be reopening the wound. Like Onil said "I wanna erase this out of my mind" I doubt he or Pedro would ever want to revisit this case

They say that criminals return to the scene of the crime. Ariel did just that. Giving out posters of the missing girls, going to the vigils and hugging Gina's parents and offering up help. He's in their faces, so how can he be a suspect? It also gives criminals a birds-eye seat to what's happening and hearing if there are any clues to who did this crime. This happens often in crimes.

if these brothers were involved wouldnt all 3 girls have said that and wouldnt ariel had implicated them?

Exactly!! Like the brother on the left said, he was furious that he was in the car with Ariel, as he ended up getting arrested, just by association, as also the brother on the right was arrested for the same thing. They were both let go after the girls said they had nothing to do with it.

U can literally see sheer pain in onil‘s eyes

it’s a shame they were arrested and even considered suspects. the one brother wasn’t even with ariel.

I respect his family, they cut ties with him as soon as they knew about the atrocities he has done to make him feel bad that even his family members are spitting on his face.

This makes me so sad it made me cry for the girls for everything for them bein involved in somthing they didnt commit they are stuck with that for their rest of their life you can tell they are devastated that they have no words

People forget that you don't just think your brother/friend/son is a monster. It is perfectly understandable why they thought he was just weird. Jayne Smith Ariel would never let anyone upstairs...which was their living quarters, and where the "alarms" were set. Also, it was a sketchy neighborhood, so he could use that excuse (for security). People might have assumed he was having work done on the house, or couldn't afford to have the windows fixed. In a nicer neighborhood, it would have stuck out like a sore thumb, but not in their neighborhood.

I believe them.... my only pause is that Onil is upset because of how HIS life is changed and not more considerate of the young women.

Communication Science No.. they did NOT live with him. The girls stated the brothers had absolutely nothing to do with their situation. Did you watch the video? Castro would turn his music up really loud if he had visitors, had a messy house and wouldn't let "guests" go beyond certain areas, etc. Also, it was a multi-level house, and that probably helped drown out any noise as well. If you are beaten, cold, hungry, etc., you are not going to be able to scream at the top of your lungs. Plus, he had probably threatened to hurt or kill them if they did. It was a very complex situations that is hard to understand unless we have lived it. Abusers have their ways to hide the abuse and keep up the facade.

This is so wrong!!! Who cares what they think! ? If that was my brother I think I would want to die,they went to that house,while these women were being tortured & knew nothing!!!!! shame

They were all grown women on there release, answer honest, do u think an avg middleaged man could keep u and two of your good GF's captured for years. I dont buy this story its fishy at best

They were children when they were taken and were malnourished when found. He did that so that they didn't have the strength to take him on.

Well you all are 4 getting they were young girls which means they were brainwashed. Also the oldest girl was grins but she seems a bit slow so she might have a little mental problem to a degree that she had a mind set of a younger child

And Amanda said he would beat the CRAP out of her if she did anything, he would even pretend to go to work then if one girl screams, that’s it wham! The girls were terrified of him, he was an abuser big time. He locked them downs stairs, to the pole, with a motorcycle cap for hours and hours - while it was sweltering hot. It was awful. Her book was clear. It was a nightmare, I experienced kidnapping but nothing this bad. Omg, get experience was 100x worse than mine. I’m serious.

The brothers were not allowed past the kitchen. The brothers knew nothing. They said in hindsight, that Ariel's peculiar behavior, all makes sense now. He left dinners at his mother's house etc. in the middle of the meal. The women said that they never saw the brothers at all. At first when we didn't have all the facts, I thought it made perfect sense that there were 3 brothers for the 3 women. But it turned out to be false.
