It was great to hear from Coach Lindsey Harding re: how she works with the GM and collaborates w/Coach Brown in her intro presser, so it's good we're hearing from Anjali Ranadive. G League becoming more important each year for strengthening NBA roster. Hope you check in w/ them mid season.

This was a great interview. I will admit that I thought she was picked because of blatamt nepostism but her responses and clear passion of the game and her committment completely erased the red flag I held. Thanks for this interview Matt.

And she stepped down after player strangled a prostitute with a HDMI cable after a game. She was clearly not qualified for the job. She didn’t even have the courage to address the incident. That would be like Bill Belichick refusing to address the Aaron Hernandez situation.

2 years ago she wanted to be a pop star and daddy was letting her perform at halftime. Now she wants to play GM?

It's not like she didn't have the chops to pursue that career. She was more than qualified. As far as her position right now, she's starting in the minor leagues, calm down dude. She has the experience, she definitely has the intelligence. If she is somehow in over her head, she definitely has the resources to find those who can do the job. My bet is on her...

People with their cries of nepotism, of course that’s what it is so what. Basketball executives above all is must be intelligent. You know when your leader lacks it and you can’t deny it when they do. She’s doing a fine job so far, will it translate to the NBA, I kind of doubt it but who knows?

Well...that's how businesses usually are. Family owned, what's wrong with that? As long as they properly honor their contracts with their other employees money wise and treat them well socially there's no issue.

@@briangoodner8680having a billionaires son or daughter be a president isn't a problem. Having personnel decisions made by someone who isn't qualified is The question here is nepotism. Only in a deranged mind is this about whether she's a male or female. Before this job, she was Stockton Kings' assistant general manager last season. Before that worked in the Kings' social responsibility department (!!) and as an intern for the Golden State Warriors.... Does this look like the CV of a basketball gm who has to evaluate talent?

@@antoniobautista6718you have figurehead positions that don't affect the roster, decision making related to basketball. General manager must have excellent basketball experience and ability to evaluate talent, there are very few of these jobs. You can work in marketing, Humans relations and public outreach. Finance. You can be a team president where you're only basketball input comes when you hire the GM who runs basketball operations. These people are highly qualified lifers.
