Going in circles is the truth! 13 years after its release it was still being played on southern soul radio stations!!

Thank you for sharing this video. I was in the 9th grade at Whitted Junior High School in Durham, North Carolina in 1969 when Grazing in the Grass came out by Friends of Distinction. This was my favorite song by this group. When I listen to this song today, July 14, 2024, it takes me back into time when I was a teenager. I often miss those days because times were different and much better than they're today.

Definitely grazing in the grass. That song will never get old.

For some strange reason, I always confused The Friends of Distinction with the group The Undisputed Truth. Anyway, my favorite song by The Friends of Distinction is "Going in Circles". I remember this song being played a lot, when I was a little kid!

This is my favorite group of the 60's. A little known song called "Great Day" was my favorite song by them. I saw them in person at a supper club on Wilshire Blvd. In Santa Monica back in the mid 1980's. I love all of their songs.

I really love “ A Great Day “ with the lead vocal of Barbara Love and smooth harmonies of Floyd, Jessica and Harry setting the tone. Jessica Cleaves was an extraordinary singer with octave range that was starling for example “ I Really Hope You Do “. Charlene Gibson whose photo is featured here was lush alto in her own “ Love Or Let Me Be Lonely “. Harry and Floyd were always outstanding in their own right. A life lover of The Friends of Distinction.

For me , it's a Two way tie between Grazin in The Grass , and Love or let me be Lonely . Tho I always thought that their version of Grazin in The Grass didn't come out until 1972 !!?? Oh well , maybe I was wrong 🤗 .

I was playing my u tube music a couple of hours ago, and Thire song Grazing in grass, back in the late 60s came up, i grew loving this song, a few artists have had there own version , i was in the 8th grade when it was out, are they still alive, or passed away,

I could be mistaken, but I believe Smiling Faces was a song by the group "The Undisputed Truth".

I have no favorite but i have a three-way tie between Love And Let Me Be Lonely,Going In Circles and Grazing In The Grass.They also should have had a fourth song that should have been a hit for them because they recorded a song titled Check It Out before the group Tavares did ,if i am not mistaken.But Tavares recording was a hit and the Friends Of Distinction`s recording was not but i liked it.
