Hey bro, glad to see you doing new things with your channel, I like the way that you're doing chapters as well as going beyond Motown legends. There is a group that I'd like to see and that's a group named, the new birth, and the blood stones. I grew up in the 60s and 70s and you've been coming up with some groups I never heard of but have maybe heard a song or two. I know that you do your do diligence with your research and for that I just want to say, well done lil bro, well done.

Mary Wells was one my favorite Vocalist of all time. The A.I. was horrible. The Womacks Brothers all them was bums. Barry Gordy was the Don King of Music.

I never heard of this particular girl group. They could sing. Thanks for their story. Groups to Cover: Jade, Brownstone, Heaven N Earth, Champaign, The MarKeys, Darlene Love, Jill Scott, Winton or Branford Marsalis, Sting, just to name a few.

The fabulous Ms. Etta James. Thanks for her story. They need a movie on her. I wish they had asked Ms. James to sing her classic hit, At Last for the Presidential Ball. (No disrespect to Beyonce just my two cents) Forgot she portrayed her in Cadillac Records. It was also another film that came out regarding Chess Records during this time. It was a little more accurate, but sadly didn't get the press like Cadillac Records. Always wondered why.🤔 Can't find it anywhere. My favorite songs by her are All I Do Is Cry, Tell Mama, and At Last. Loved her voice. Never knew she sang with a trio.

Def do the Ronettes and Darlene Love. “Tell Him” happened to be one of the few recordings that captured the energy of outer-borough New York City in 1963. Unfortunately subsequent singles could not find a home on black radio for being too pop and the pop field being too crowded with the British Invasion. Side note: I had a huge crush in Brenda!😊

Motown = superb polished professional music . Musicians that were easy on the eye. The soul brothers the sound of Motown were extremely underrated . It was a great era for African American music. The fantastic artists were too many to mention. The old saying was Motown = the suburbs . Stax = the projects. I’ve always wondered if Berry Gordy would have signed the big O, Otis Redding.
