This is the area I need help in beading the insides of leaf patterns on leather. But, I have been using 11/0 beads on the outline as well as inside the pattern. What I have been running into inside the leaf patterns, is that the 11/0 beads start to sort of bind and pull causing gaps in my beads because the pattern is tight all the beads will not fit nicely. Can you have a use a ll/0 bead on the outline, then use a smaller bead on the inside? I thought about removing onside of the pattern, and fixing the beads on the inside, then filling the outside pattern back in. Thanks.

Brown Yes I would suggest checking out Pintrest, there are so many examples of beadwork on there and so many variations of leafs many bead artist use. Size 11 are big beads and it depends on the size of your leaf. If your not beading very big leafs I suggest just using smaller beads altogether.

What is the best way to bead single straight lines of beads like sun rays. A single needle return stitch or a single needle flat stitch?

nofindausername If your comfortable with the return stitch I'd say it's a good way to bead. Depending on how long the sunshine ray is. My preference would to go with 2 needle flat stitching if it's longer and single needle return if it's a shorter. 😉🌹🌼
