A red winged blackbird dove at my head repeatedly while I was trying to retrieve a frisbee from tall grass. Only once I pointed to the frisbee and said I would mind its babies, did it allow me to slowly proceed - but not before it repositioned itself from up behind me, to in front of me on a low branch and watched me very closely. I swear, it called to others who took position on the lines above and spaced themselves out 20ft apart until we were clear of the field. Everyone who saw it had a good laugh. I had a new found respect for birds.

Yeah, they're super aggressive here in BC, Canada. I was picking wild catnip at a nearby pond and they have lots of nests in the tall brush. One started dive bombing me and I held up a handful of catnip and it actually stopped. I was pretty dumbfounded by that. I was able to fill my bucket and leave in peace. 😂

As for nominative determinism, I have a few: (I’m from the Philippines btw) - A male doctor whose name is Dr. Doktora - A metal worker with a family name of Panday (Filipino term for blacksmith) - As mentioned in the video, A Cardinal named Jaime Cardinal Sin - A family where the female members are discriminated or excluded as their family name is Bayag (Filipino term for scrotum) - A legless guy with a family name Walker There are a lot. These are all I can recall.

Well I have one story During primary school 3rd grade, a student accidentally forgot to fix the bottle in his bag properly. So the bottle fell downstairs and hit my head, nothing serious ofcourse. He apologized and we pretty much had no contact with eachother.(We were 3 grades apart I think) Skipping to first year of highschool, I joined a group that teaches elderly to play board games, there was one student that likes speaking English as much as me, since we are in Hong Kong it is quite uncommon. Even though my school is an English school, each time after school we like chatting with eachother and became friends(BUT NO SHIPPING US OK I DON'T LIKE THOSE). Soon our mothers decided to meet, then one day my mother told me something I will never forgot. That student was also the student that accidentally dropped the bottle on my head 3 years ago. And we met by chance in an activity we both joined. How much of a coincidence is that? --Erin

I remember me and my brother caught a click beetle in our yard. We looked at it for a bit and watched it then decided to release it. I said "wouldn't it be funny when we release it a bird immediately grabs it." We release it and it flies towards a part of the house where small birds can enter the attic, a bird comes flying in, grabs the beetle, and enters the attic within a second. I start laughing but my brother looked heartbroken. Funniest coincidence yet.

One of the most practised shot was - into tank's gun barrel. When the owners retired due to age, they gave my parents a few examples of the flowers my mom likes so much. We drove home, my mom (successfully) planted them, but found a ring wrapped around one of their roots. Called the old owners, was told it was a "backup wedding ring" the wife had worn during World War 2 and lost in that very garden some time in the late 40s. This happened in the late 90s.

The priest who baptised me as a baby in the town I was born in turned out to be the priest who performed my holy communion 8 years later when we moved to a coastal town three hours away. I've steered away from religion since then. But small coincidences and all

I was taking my brother to his primary school one day which was the same one i went to as well and had seen both of our doppelgangers there as in mine and my brothers at the same class. We talked for a bit then we parted ways until the end of the day where we met again and were wearing the same clothes

I’m only at the 2nd story this far. That is beautiful. In 1999, I was at the bar of a “gentleman’s club” when 2 guys sat on the stools beside. Doppelgänger couldn’t even come close to explaining how this one guy looked so familiar. We had worked on the Alaskan pipeline many years prior. And then we were sitting 4,000mi away at a titty bar in Selma, NC…

I find four leaf clovers very easily. The last month I've found three. Every summer I find at least three and one year I found six. I don't look for them, they just appears. My own explanation is that I have ADD which makes me se irregular things, but I really have no clue.

I can remember there was that one track event where a guy threw a javelin and it pierces one guy's foot not through the front but through the side which is kind of graphic in my mind. IDK what happened to that guy if he had lost his ability to run or had arthritis for the rest of his life as a result of that javelin.

Some years ago, a woman whose first name was Merry (not Mary) married a man whose family name was Christmas. To make the coincidence odder, she worked in an office where people answered the phone by stating their names instead of saying, "Hello." Imagine someone saying, "Merry Christmas," in July. A P.S.: In my entire life, only on one occasion did I meet anyone named Christmas. By coincidence, it was because I was eating lunch at a restaurant where a Christmas family reunion was taking place. I met a lot of Christmases that day.

Omg I am now curious if you're able to do like a scan on both the man and the statue to see if it has the same features on a mathematical scale. Maybe they could do recreation of his head and put it next to the statue so we know what the missing parts look like lol.
