That last one about the Aussie truck driver I actually remember occuring. How he came to win the 250k was, in itself, amazing. The news station asked him to recreate the event of winning the first 'scratchie' by taking him to the newsagency where he bought it, buying another and recording it. However, the newsagency was out of the ones where he could have won the 17k. So, he simply purchased one of the more expensive ones that was of a similar colour. It was upon scratching that one where he then won the 250k. He then spun around and said "I've just won $250,000 dollars!" The reporter laughed and said, "You were supposed to say, 'I've just won 17,000 dollars'. He replied, "No, I've just won 250,000 dollars!" The rest of the footage had the reporter hold the winning ticket to the camera for a closeup to show that it was real. The look on the faces of the two anchors back at 'the studio' was. I firmly remember, as it was one of those things you'd never forget. And I haven't.

when i was 16 i crashed my moms car, total write-off. Me and my 3 passengers were fine. We had a cell phone in the car. I brought the cell phone into mcdonalds while we waited for the tow truck. I got a call from my brother on the cell, asking i pick him up about 20 mins away, as he crashed and wrote off his car (under my moms name too). He thought i was joking when i told him i couldn't pick him up because i also wrote off my car. About an hour later the tow truck arrived and the driver apologized for the lateness, advising it had been a busy night. He just came from picking up my brothers car and dropping it off at the auto-pac site. The next day my father advised us he also had a fender bender the previous day. All the men from our family had an accident on the same day.

One of the greatest coincidences I’ve seen is one that belongs to my dad. When he was young soldier of about 18, he stood on a bridge in Central America with 300 others to protect a small village being attacked by a large force of militants belonging to, I believe, Noriega at the time. About 2 years ago he met a mother with a couple children and several grandchildren who just happened to be one of those villagers he was protecting. She was extremely happy to meet one of the people she can thank for giving her the life she has today. My dad was equally as happy to know the sacrifices he made were not in vein.

Statistically speaking, people who play the lottery often SHOULD win more routinely. But they don't. Its funny, I used to play decades ago in Massachusetts and you regularly won a few bucks here and there, but clearly lost overall. When my girlfriend and I moved to California, we played the same sort of lottery here as back on the east coast. We never won a thing. Ever. So we stopped playing. MA seems to have the right idea, small rewards to keep you coming back. CA just wants the $$$.

I can relate with the tree coincidence. Once upon a time, i was walking home from school, quite a windy day, and i stopped to talk with my friend for a couple second. I was waiting for my friend in an airsoft field. He messaged me telling me that he was going to come and I was very bored so I shot my airsoft gun up in the air. Next thing you know, I got a message from him saying that he got shot by an airsoft bullet. My Airsoft bullets were custom-made with pink camo design, so when he came and showed me the bullet and it was mine.

Jay Cole my worst fear and what’s even more sad because of the what if factor is I was playing my local pick 3 lotto I got the numbers right but my gut told me to mark 2 advanced draws I didn’t I was one freaking draw short of winning $52 😩 AND I wanted to play my state lotto QUICK PICK that night but ignored that gut feeling to and I probably would of won the $9M jackpot 😩😩😩😩 I still beat myself for this and it’s been almost 2 months now 🤦🏻‍♀️

I served in the US Navy for five years, stationed aboard the same ship most of that time. There I met a NCO who recognized my last name. It turned out that his first NCO had been my father, and twenty years later he served with me before retiring.

This video has really caused an impact on me. From now on I'm living life without worrying anymore. I realized watching this video, that instead of trying to imagine the worse in my life, I should just accept every moment I live because all the thoughts I'll have in the future are already destined to happened. I no longer think that the future can be manipulated by our actions. I will just live and accept and not judge my circumstances at any given point of my life because I'll be living the exact sets of actions I'm supposed to live. I'll just pray for mercy and happiness.

Yes, my daughter and I, when she was a kid, drove by a guy that was walking down the street holding a bouquet of flowers. It had been.raining, and it was two lanes but someone was beside me and I couldn't change lanes and I hit a puddle and totally drenched him. I felt awful, but not as awful as I did a few years later when I was divorced from her dad and ended up marrying this man. We were talking one day, and out of the blue I started telling him about what happened that day, he stopped and looked at me and told me that was him!! How embarrassing!! He sadly passed away at age 54, just a year and a half after marrying him. I married my 3rd husband and we realized after many talks how intertwined we were through life and didn't know it. His best friend was my best friends older brother, yet I never met him. He used to streak down my street at night with a bunch of guys, and you could hear them coming but I never seen his face, just butts and tennis shoes!!! Lol I served him at a restaurant when I was 20, and it was no doubt to either of us that we had met that night too because the story was so crazy it could only happen once in a lifetime in that way. Also, I met him one day many years later yet didn't know him as he came into my yard to check a meter. He rattled the gate to see if there were dogs. I didn't know that he was out there, but my dogs did and wanted to go out, so I let them out. As I walked back to the front of the house I see this head dart past the side window. I ran out front and he had just made it out of the gate. Lmbo. I apologized and we laughed. It was many years after that when i actually met him and we became friends. We did not recognize each other though. When I found out his last name was the same as my first husband's who was my kid's father, it really freaked me out at first, yet they were not related and were different as night and day, thank goodness. But worse of all, he died also of cancer at the age of 54. Freaky! But he was wonderful though. There were other things but those were the things that stand out the most.

Similar to the guy with the hockey puck, I lost an entire storage unit full of personal possessions do to a bookkeeper error. Among my personal possessions were some of my childhood toys. About 10 years later, I started collecting toys from the 1980s, and purchased some items to replace the ones that I had lost from the storage unit. One of these toys look very familiar to me, and upon further inspection of the bottom of it, I found where my mom had painted my initials on the bottom. So I got one of my favorite childhood toys back. I contacted the seller and ask him where he had made the purchase, and it was a collectible shop near where my storage unit had been. The owner of the collectible shop headed to buy storage units that had gone unpaid for. Unfortunately I wasn't able to replace any of my other stuff.

Back in 2005, I was working for a large company with many employees. I was chatting with a Co-worker as another employee passed by. "That's Bob" she said, "I like him, He's a nice man". I never talked to him, never met him, never encountered him again & thought nothing about it. 5 Years later after moving to a new town, I got a new Job with a new company. Met a coworker there, his name was also Bob. Months later I realized that this was the same Bob from my job back in 2005 who I briefly encountered. 10 years later, he is now my husband.

When the Olympic collided with the HMS Hawke, she had the designation of Royal Mail Ship, or RMS. 2. When her sister ship Britannic sank, she was serving as a hospital ship, with the designation HMHS, or His Majesty's Hospital Ship. Also, during the sinking of the HMHS Britannic, Jessop was on one of the lifeboats that was launched prematurely, and she was thrown off just before that lifeboat got sucked into the ship's propellers. (I'm kinda surprised you didn't mention that part. It adds so much to her "unsinkable" reputation!)

yep. My mother bought me a beautiful Anri music box for my 4th birthday- a skater which looked like me as a child and played "Skater's Waltz" . Little did I know she would be dead within 18 months from cancer. I kept it and treasured it for years. In 1990, out of the blue, I had a vision of it in flames. I freaked, and started looking all over for it. I found it was at my father's apartment on top of a bookcase. Thinking it would be safe there, I left it. 2 weeks later, my father's apartment was completely gutted by a fire- along with my music box. I spent 23 years looking for a replacement. Finally, in 2013, I got an eBay notification- one was available for 65 dollars. I bought it immediately. It was only a day later I realized I just happened to purchase it on my mother's birthday.

2:30 When you are making the layout for a newspaper - especialy frontpage - you have to be aware where the fold will be. This is important because customers will only see the top part of the page, when the newspaper is on display. I have been working for a newspaper for 10 years and to me it would not be surprising at all if a graphic designer saw their chance and moved the whole text a bit so that the sentence "this is not a coincidence" shows on the fold.

Yes, I have. Several times. One instance: I was across the world living in Slovakia for a year. I was walking in a park when a friend from my home town in Alaska literally walked right in front of me.

The 10th story was my favorite because knowing that the jacket that Frank Morgan wore actually belonged to the author of the Wizard of Oz really does make the movie all the more special as it's like somehow the author's spirit is trying to ensure the movie is magical and successful,

I was watching first dates last week and there was a women, she walked in the restaurant. and the voice over said “this is the 63 year old...” and i said “marianne” and right when i said that the tv said that too.. i was kinda shocked 😂

So if the Christmas sisters were going to deliver presents to each other, they woulda missed each other as obviously they wouldn't have been home

Also, the Olympic, Brittanic, and Titanic were the only three Olympic class ocean liners. The coincidences deepen!

My favorite Pure Coincidence is the one where a youtube channel video, right in the video's photo, showed a Nokia phone that had fossilized inside of a brick, and, when the video was played, actually featured the fossilized Nokia phone in the video itself. What are the odds of that ever happening ?!?

I have one, I was born on Feb 14th valentines day, 2 years ago I received a heart transplant, which was done 2 weeks from my birthday Jan 27, i was in recovery till Feb 12th, out just in time to celebrate my birthday again

AnarchyChef2 I just wanted to wish you the best of luck, following your transplant. I know that they can be very difficult to go through, any organ transplant, I mean. My mom had a double lung transplant in May of 2004, and all seemed great for over a year. At Christmas time in 2005, she contracted the shingles virus from a visiting friend. She passed away in November 2006. Like I said, best wishes this holiday season and beyond. Never take life for granted!

I have experienced several weird coincidences with my wife been present with all of them 1) meeting my future wife the same time I became a woman hater Apparently I was the only one to ask her to dance that night at a friends bar Mitzvah Also gave her a kiss and a hug then Soon after that a girl humiliated me in front of my friends which left me hating girls until I was re introduced to her by her roommate 10 years later Since I was knee high I always said I would marry a Linda Her name is Linda Now we been together happily married 43/45 years 2) Search for my birth parents Found out at age 34 was Adopted Was searching for years with no luck We had a couple whom we were connected to in a very strange way My dad died - was there wedding anniversary Our youngest daughter born - was Anne’s birthday Linda’s dad dies - Steve and Anne’s wedding anniversary Now coming to 4th July - Anne’s mom dying of enphasyma Drs said hours no weeks We were praying that Anne’s mom would not pass away on our wedding anniversary 4th July We go to bed that night and I get prodded away by Linda to tell me I’m going to find my family I said been looking for 4 years to no avail She tells me Anne’s mom came to her with a LETTER asking my forgiveness fir her putting me up for adoption Told Linda - nonsense Next day Anne’s mom passes away - we happy - no more connections YAY Following day we attend memorial service for Anne’s mom I checked the hatched matched and dispatched to see if Anne’s mom death notice we put in was in Her name was there BUT right underneath her name was the ONLY death notice that ever appeared for what turned out to be my half brother 3) We go meet my deceased brothers family and learnt that my birth mom had perished in a flat fire 15 years before and 11 years before I knew that I was adopted What made this even more macabre was even though I never knew at that stage I was adopted I knew (felt) she had died The day she died I woke up crying depressed and very sad and never knew why Now I knew Somehow in her last moments she must have thought of me the child she had given up for adoption and wondered where and what happened to me 4) They told me that everything in the flat was destroyed except for ONE LETTER Linda’s dream ...... Letter wasn’t from my mom but from the matron of the home I was in before I was adopted saying I was going to my new home and taking the teddy bear my father had given me My adopted father HATED that teddy bear and threw it away the day I got married Now we knew why A 38 year old mystery cleared up But the biggest joke was My brother died THE SAME DAY as Anne’s mom past away 4 direct connections to a family we connected with years before One unsubstantiated fact which I can’t prove The search for Origins had just opened up the year I found out so I would not have been able to search until then They were moving the files to the archives and my file fell off but was not put back on the trolly but back on the shelf waiting for my application to come in Strange but true

When my great uncle survived being crushed by a car and was clinically dead for 15 minutes, he became a lunatic. Good thing he's gone now. The things he did to my great aunt before she got away from him... But, she passed on too. I'm glad she had a better life at the end though.

Charles Coughlin came home. He was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, but later lived, and died in Galveston Texas. When the big hurricane hit in 1900, his coffin was carried out to sea. It washed up on the shores of Nova Scotia!

The guy whose car was missed by two falling trees parked there (between the trees) to avoid bird poop on his car, so it's not, strictly speaking, a 100% coincidence.

When I was 21 I found out that my weed mans wife’s birthday was the day after mine and she was born at the same hospital, When I told my mom she asked her name and then told me to go get my baby book , we flipped through the pages till we found a pic of a little baby girl with the name Betty Marie wrote next to it, it was her! turns out our moms were in the same hospital room before and after our births. When we were a few months old our parents got us together and we had our first and only play date , I didn’t see or hear anything about her and had no recollection of any of this until 20 years later when I moved across the county, met my new weed man and when July rolled around realized his wife and I were born hours apart at the same hospital. It’s weird to meet someone new and realize that you were basically born together.

the chance of us being born is 1 in 4,000,000,000,000 (4 trillion) getting rich is 1 in a million, consider yourself lucky.

When me, me friend Tyson, my friend Leon are together me, and Tyson will do the something at the same time

The same thing as the first story happened with me and my husband. I found an image of myself with friends in a bar and my husband was in the background. That was 5 years before we even met.

I felt bad for that elderly guy. He could have been very happy if only one of his friends was alive to enjoy such an Exciting find, a puck that they Used to play with. Sadly he can't relive those moments because all of his friends has already gone and pass.
