Amen! Thank you, Lord. And again, I appreciate you Dr. Randall D. Smith. Exactly what you explained toward the end is what God is doing with you and your videos. Years later and these videos/classes is helping me in ways unexplainable as well as many more others. May The Lord continue to bless you and your family in Jesus name. Know you are always and forever greatly appreciated. Praise be to God.

Been studying this book of Haggai that I felt the Lord called me to study in this season. This is the best video I've heard on the studying Haggai. thank you for this video. I would love if you expanded more about the "from this day on I will bless you" part. But other than that you shared some great wisdom and gave me more insight to this portion of Scripture Jesus is leading me to study and come back to.

I USED TO HAVE A REALLY CLEAR SENSE OF how sin affected the way i felt i related to others and after one day i sinned i sort of lost that understanding as if god had now deprived me of the privilege … thats worrisome

Just for starters, chapter one is NOT about apathy. It's about God confronting them with their selfishness. They built paneled houses for themselves but ignored building God's temple. They were therefore cursed by Him. He said they expected much but received little. People who expect much for themselves are not apathetic. Greedy yes, apathetic no.

Apathetic towards God, not themselves. selfishness (passion for self) and apathy for Him & holiness. Hope that clears things up.
