I really appreciate Dr. Smith's teaching. I just found him online a few weeks ago and I find these videos so refreshing. I listen to his videos after I finish each book on my own. Thank you, GCBI! I attended a small Bible college about 15 years ago and I wish I had had this guy as one of my professors. God's timing is just right, though. Glad I can listen online now! :)

Thanks for this. Well said. It inspired me to teach my children and pass on the Word of God to them and expect them to do the same to next generations to come. The decline should stop! Our values, our culture is declining because we forget God and His teachings. Same sex marriage, abortion, adultery, pre martial sex, divorce is getting more and more acceptable because of our moral and spiritual decline. What is the church doing?

We had 80 years to step up our game. Even longer, really. God's people need to get off the sidelines and get into their bibles. Dr Graham said to pray, read ( study]) the Bible, and preach the cross. We now have free media access to countless biblical scholars. We have no one to blame but ourselves if we don't know the truth

I think in regards to the leader ship it’s because they’re all apostolic and they want to be the leaders instead of training up others into their place as the prophets. But also in scripture is says train up your children the way they shall walk and they will not depart from it. That means the training happens in the homes. And if the homes are falling apart and there’s no leader ship in the homes then who is the train up The leaders? Just something to think about.

Mentoring begins with every father on the Sabbath gathering his family/flock around the scriptures and YHWH’s Spirit! Unless that primary building block happens there will be no generational passing of the torch! Obviously the basis of a father gathering his family on the sabbath is his own personal walk with YHWH - that is the order of Biblical leadership and generational blessing!!!!

As a young(approaching 30) Christian woman from Ghana , I’ve had a waxing and waning relationship with God and I decided to get better this year (2022). Unfortunately I’ve fallen off track many times , but somehow i found your channel, bibletalk and a prayer platform called alphahour and i know that this is God working on my life. Thank you very much for your work .

This was no doubt the best description and explanation of the book of judges that I have seen . we are in the eighth week of a study of judges in our Tuesday morning Bible study for men. I have been so distracted by the events depicted like Sampson killing 1000 men with the jawbone of an ass for capturing 300 foxes and tying their tails together that I have missed the forest for the trees. this lesson gives me the liberty to understand judges as important stories and not a historical narrative of actual events that occurred. so I can move beyond wondering how a man can possibly catch 300 foxes or kill 1000 men with a bone

Well, then..... I've never cried at any of your teachings, and I've only got the Chronicles left of the OT in this series. Its SO true. I was one of the mentorless generation and about 6 or 7 years ago I started mentoring and teaching how to read the Bible hermeneutically and tryingtoconvincepeople to dive intoScripture, instead of doing 15 minute "devotions". And thanks to the internet (and some major health battles) I've received some great mentoring from you and some apologetics groups. I got an Associate's in Biblical Studies in 2019. It's getting more difficult to reach the next generation (especiallyin person) because they don't think we have anything to offer that the internet can't....so I'm about to start a KZread channel that calls out Biblical fallacies and gets theological and word definitions according to the Bible type conversations. I also volunteer for a Bible app's spiritual support. I'm afraid for my g-babies. I can't do anything there (they were taken from us), but I can reach who I can. I'll go down trying to reach the next gens and those in mine. Thank you for helping me be even more equipped.

You should be having fellowship with like minded people. Often you get this at a good bible preaching church which has a leader/teacher. Each church, if it is doing God's Word will have appointed to it servants, different gifts/roles. Find a church like this. Ask God.

Er, it was predicted long ago. It is also necessary, i.e., the falling away, so that the man of perdition is revealed. Christian's heart was not made of good earth so that the word could take root and be strong. This is why they fell like dominoes since the 1800's, not since the 1960's. This preaching is USA-centric but the message is global.

@10:26...l find it difficult to concur with this statement. Joshua 24:31 states that " lsrael served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the day's if the elders that overlived Joshua". Seeing that we don't know how long of a period that was, l find that to be a wonderful testimony for a great man of God.
