    I’m an athiest and currently studying the bible purely out of interest. This guy has got to be the funniest most entertaining guy i’ve watched who explains the bible so far. Great job.

    Now this is interesting. Apparently people only listen to God when they are in a great deal of pain. Great how he explains about the frogs and dust storms an updates it into something that makes perfect sense to someone living in 2021. So when you think 1526 Moses BC born FF to 2021 CoVid-19 which = 3347 years somehow in the big picture, today seems more a part of the story of the Bible. Thank You for this perspective. I was just looking at history and I ended up here. I hope this dude has more of these lectures. Great stuff.

    I hope this question can still be answered: was it because of disobedience that the Israelites stayed in Egypt? Didn’t God tell Abraham (Genesis 15:13) that his descendants will live in a land not theirs and be slaves there?

    Yes, you are right: Exodus 17:12 “When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up-one on one side, one on the other-so that his hands remained steady till sunset.” Verse 13: So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.

    Hey love your teaching style ! I do have a question about why God hardened the pharaoh's heart? Each time Chapter 4:21 ".........But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go...." What was God's purpose in doing this each time Moses went before

  • @mcmags

    @mcmags

    5 жыл бұрын

    God's Handmaiden God hardened Pharaoh’s heart so that all of the plagues would happen and all of the Egyptian gods would be disproved, especially Ra, the sun god. That’s why darkness (besides the death of the firstborn sons) was the worst plague. Does this answer your question?

    If you look at the plagues, from plague 1-5, it's Pharoah doing the hardening, it's only from plague 6 onwards that scripture is explicit about God hardening Pharoah's heart. The man had exhausted his season of mercy
