ああ、なるほど、理解致しました。丁寧なご返事、そして再びおほめ頂きありがとうございます。 爪に関しては、できれば伸ばしたいのですが日常生活に支障が生じますので結構短めです。やはり音は違いますが、Tommy Emmanuelも爪は特に伸ばしたりスカルプチュア等をせずにあれだけ弾いているので、それで自分を納得させています。 正直、驚きました。というのも、御指摘の通りレコーディング時にハーモニクスの音が一弦の音に勝ってしまい、なかなかうまくハーモニーにならなかったんですよ。一弦を結構強めに薬指でピッキングした結果、なんとかこういう音になりました。こういう細かいところまで気づいてくれる方がいると大変弾いた甲斐があります。ありがとうございます。

DRIVE TIMEいいですよね！あの曲にはトミエマ先生のエッセンスが詰まってます。あの曲が弾けたら他の曲もかなり弾けるようになりました。 がんばってください！

人工ハーモニックスの分散和音にメロディーの同時弾き、爪を弦に当ててないのに、サムピックと絶妙にバランスが取れている・・・。お見事としかいいようがないです。すごい！！

ありがとうございます。これいい曲ですよね。 時間はかかりますがタブで学ぶより耳コピしたほうが長い目で見ると音感が鍛えられるとのことです。（Tommyが言ってました。） その分ミスも多いので後日再アップします(^_^;)

右手で弦を弾く際に、爪を使っていないように見えます。特に人差し指で感じます。指の腹と弦の摩擦が、出てくる音色を決めているように思えます。それで柔らかい音、耳障りにならない音がでているのではないでしょうか。 　ただ、指の腹で弾くと音が立たない、音量が稼げないと思うのですが、音が大きくなりがちなサムピックを使って、綺麗に音質、音量がまとまっているので上手だなあと、感服した次第であります。

おほめを頂き、嬉しい限りです。ありがとうございます。 一つ分からない部分があるんですが、 ＞爪を弦に­当ててないのに とはどういうことでしょうか？

Hey really nice cover you did there :D Just one question I know you're using a Ibanez EW20, but could you please tell me the whole name of it since this guitar sounds really nice and all versions I keep finding of it are those with Quilted Ash as tonewood, and they're doesent sound as nice as the one you are using :D Ty in advance and greetings from Germany

Thanks for your comment from Germany! Well, I recently purchased my new main guitar(Maton EBG808TE) and put away this Ibanez model to other place, so I cant check the exact number(name) now. Sorry for that. As far as I remember, this is the limited color of Ibanez EW20, called "EW20KOENT". Not sure it is on sale now... This guitar is as same as Quilted Ash except for the color. Try playing with a thumbpick, and you'll make the sound good. A lot of appreciation from Japan.

Thank you but this song is copied by ear so I don't have the tab. In addition, I restrict myself to play the guitar for a personal reason(maybe until September of the next year). Sorry, I cannot upload the lesson video. a good way I recommend you when copying the intro part is you'd listen to the harmonics and the actual notes separately. all actual notes are 1st string only, and use your 3rd finger when picking them. if you carefully pay attention to the melody going, you'll make good!

*Don't learn from my video except the harmonics part. I'm sure the harmonics parts at the intro and the last are very correct copy. But now as I look back the Tommy's original version, there are some chords/notes mistakes in my copy. Just trust on my harmonics and ignore the rest :) And of course, I recommend you to copy from Tommy's video, rather than mine lol. I wish you good luck!

Zoom's handy recorder h1. the quality is ...not so bad for the cheap price. but if you want the clear sound, i recommend you to buy another expensive one.

Yuta, i can´t do the sound at 0:07 to 0:09.Can you help me? I don´t know what´s going on with me,because it seems really easy but it didn´t work for me till then!

Hi, Danilo. Thank you for your comment. First, you take the A note shape on the left hand. This part goes with the mix of open notes(1st string) and the harmonics(2-5th strings). At 0:07, pick the 1st string with your ring finger and 2nd string with your thumb simultaneously. One of the key to make the sound good is the hammer-on after the harmonic of 2nd string. And also be careful that 1st string is always the open note. I hope this comment helps you. Good luck!

Sza Thesinuous そうですねえ、一部弾ける曲なら結構あるんですが… 好きな部分しか練習しない、なんてこともあるのでフルで暗譜してる曲は意外と少ないです。 その中から、今年の夏にでもThose who wait、Antonella's birthday、Gameshowrag / canonball rag、Waltzing Matilda 等をアップできればいいなあと思っています。今はThe huntとDrivetimeを練習中です！
