With regards the Cooper S, I've found the twin paper filters in that airbox very restrictive. Slight non cutting mod and K+N filters works wonders for airflow.

You are correct they are terribly restrictive

Cooper S first; If I understand the set up, and your needle change, it was rich at idle, even with the jet height(s) set correctly. Hence the needle change initially?

No, the fueling was to rich across the rev range at part throttle, even when set correctly at idle.

Another great video. Do you ever do any works to MPI engines?

No as they don’t have carbs on. However I still machine parts for the engines and gearboxes/clutches etc

Again 3 good running Mini's 👍. AC what are YOUR thoughts to put 1.5 forged rockers in my Mini, it's a 1293 with Kent 266 cam and modified head. I read different stories on The Mini Forum.

1.5 rockers, not on a road car, the cam life expectancy is too short.

Am I correct in that with a CSI electronic unit and a 3.0 Ohm coil that the plug gaps should be 0.025"?

@@vijayananda9973 My Alfa has a 123 and again 3 ohm coil specified, probably can run higher power but more risk of burning it out. Worth checking their website for details.

Twin carbs? I thought you didn't do them unless supplied by you?

No, they have to be freshly rebuilt or new. It’s still a risk, that I come out and they are not tunable.
