@@MaggieAghamyan you clearly missed the point, there is no place called Artsakh, it's called Nagorno-Karabakh which is part of Azerbaijan and therefore VICE presents it as Azerbaijan. If you want to accuse Azerbaijan for shelling Armenia you first should learn where the borders of Armenia starts, and its clearly far beyond the conflict zone.

Ironically, Azerbaijan gave the Armenian population enough time to empty their homes and take their goods and personal property with them. When they invaded karabakh about 30 years ago, Armenian army kicked everyone out within hours, literally chased them down the streets and shot after them. Some even froze to death. It also explains why most Armenians say that Stalin 'gave' Karabakh to Azerbaijan, while in the USSR documents it states clearly that Karabakh should remain Azerbaijani territory.

No, he is not PM, but President. I don't understand why people call him "dictator". Just because he has been President since 2003? All Azerbaijani citizens support him and trust him. His father, our former President was also a diplomatic person and did a lot for the country and nation. We see it and we value it. We trust him, therefore we have elected him as President several times so far. We had had 2 presidents before Heydar Aliyev (father of current president), but they failed at their diplomacy. We needed trusted people who worked for Azerbaijan to develop after USSR dissolution in 1991. So propaganda on "dictator" shouldn't make people have biased opinions about Azerbaijan.

Okay mate, explain how these treaties demonstrate anything about the ownership of the Artsakh ? They don't tell us anything. The only interesting point is a minor one in the Turkmenchay treaty, stating that the Armenians of an area that is today Iranian Azerbaijan would be relocated to the newly-acquired Russian Caucasus land. Which means that there were was a consequent Armenian population all the way to Iranian Azerbaijan (there are still Armenian populations there btw), Which thus means that the regions in-between these lands and modern day Armenia are likely to be inhabited by even more Armenian. Guess which land precisely corresponds to that description ? Artsakh. These treaties are literally playing against you Dumbo.

@@maloflory Majority of those armenians were relocated not just from South Azerbaijan, but also from the rest of Iran and Middle East into Karabakh Khanate. And Turkmenchay says a lot about ownership of Karabakh. armenians’ only argument in this conflict is that they supposedly resided in Karabakh for millenia, which contradicts the Turkmenchay Treaty which was signed in 19th century.

    1. As an Armenian, I want peace in the region as well. 2. If I watched the video on mute and didn't listen to the language but only read the narratives, I would think it's the Armenian side talking. We are saying the EXACT same thing. Those lands have been Armenian for at least 200 years. Azerbaijan only received it from the USSR in 1918. 3. This video was very biased. None of the information I mentioned above was covered in the video. There are no videos of Armenia's pain and suffering. There was no interview with any Armenian official. A question arises: How much did Azerbaijan pay for the video to be made?

For those who says that Aliyev doesn't make an eye contact, it's mainly because English is not his first language and throughout a day he speaks in 3 languages (Azeri, Russian and English) so he should think before the conversation and probably he translate it inside of his head. I don't know if it makes sense to you but as a bilingual person I understand him. Like when I speak in my mother tongue I make eye contact but when I speak in other languages I have to choose words carefully so making an eye contact is not my main goal.

As you can see, Azerbaijan more that happy to get less than half of occupied territories is showing blood isnt their main goal, but the land is. A BBC video showing that Armenia's people is overproud and determined not to left their land (NK) in a noon, but came nightfall and the same interviewed limping their kin to Aremenian Proper, still with same voice said theyre not leaving the land. An orwellian clear sign, a word to describe the opposite means.
