To be fair, if you see that mustache and don't think you're fighting a Viltrumite, this was just natural selection at work.

I didn't read the comics but I have a question. Why was Omni Man surprised Kreeg was there? Did he forget Kreeg was beating him up in the previous episode and lose memory or something?

There wasn't any real explanation, but I would guess it has something to do with how high-ranking Nolan was. And maybe Kregg didn't show up for other executions. It was a respect-thing.

Kreeg's really high ranking/important in the Viltrumite Empire. Think of it like a 5 star general seeing a major in prison. (Though, in this analogy, that major- Omni man- is also a war hero)
