I mean ignoring the fact that she isn’t making to much of a scene, speaking at a normal tone of voice and is relatively claim. From in outsiders perspective she looks like a normal human woman. A very hot and buff human woman but still looks like a human woman. I gotta say that her talk about Earth's problems is empty coming from her. And Mark's only defense is "at least I don't kill" because he knows he can't possibly justify the atrocities humans commit every day against each other and the planet. He pivots to calling into question Anissa and the Viltrumites' moral character, which is indeed deeply flawed, because he knows that in this instance Anissa is right. Her killing innocent humans is no different than a corporation that pays off corrupt politicians to allow the enslavement of their own people and the pilfering of their nation's natural resources. It is no different than the West's intelligence networks that do their best every day to undermine other countries elected officials whenever they do something that is not profitable for us and our companies. Indeed Mark is complicit in these actions by refusing to stop them when he is more than powerful enough to do so. Pretty cool that Anissa’s voice actress is Beca from the Boys, Butcher’s late wife

I see a lot of people saying that if Nolan spoke to Mark this way it would have been better but I think people fail to realize that Nolan was emotionally conflicted and compromised. You have to understand that Nolan has conquered hundreds of planets and felt nothing now all of a sudden hes feeling pain regret and anger all at once. Nolan wasn't trying to convince Mark, he was trying to convince himself through Mark.

I dont like Amber just as much as the next guy, but the look on her face really made me feel so bad for her. She was like a helpless child.

I loved hearing Wraith's voice in this show.

Little subtle detail right after Amber says, "There are some situations you can't punch your way out." Anissa immediately shows up and grabs Amber's neck, thus, Mark is immediately put into a situation where he can't just punch his way out of. I love the writers of this show.

I like how they animate the hair in the wind. It’s both graceful and menacing. Plus, even when their bodies are static, seeing the flowing wind grounds their presence in the scene more. Too many times superhero animations and SFX neglect to show us wind when someone is FLYING IN THE AIR. Homelander for example in the boys, I get that his hair is gelled back, but for a guy flying at super sonic speeds, his hair is always in place. Super man the animated series too, has Superman’s hair remaining static and in place as he flies through the air.

Something I haven't seen many people talk about, but with all the stuff with Rick's PTSD and Sinclair working for the government, I can't help but feel like that's going to come to a head in some way. Like Rick somehow finds out through Donald that Sinclair is basically on the government's payroll now directly because of how he butchered him and a bunch of other people, or maybe it'll be Donald that ends up having a serious problem with it after he just helped Rick out his suicide attempt.

What’s interesting about this conversation is that it isn’t one-sided. Most hero-villain conversations have a clear objectively moral person, that being the hero. But here, Anissa presents a valid argument. It’s not as though Mark is wrong for not wanting Earth to be subjugated to the Viltrum Empire, but he can’t save the world on his own. His efforts to save mankind will fail, without the proper institutions, technology and resources. Viltrum has those, but its approach is all wrong. It wants to force mankind into submission, rather than cooperate with them. That’s what Mark doesn’t get with. I love little conversations like this

I dont know what s scarier that anissa here is modeled after sasha calle or the implications of her testing marks strength for her purposes in the future.
