Yeah, you can really see it around 2:30. Mark blocks strikes or redirects them while the other Viltrumites just kinda dodge or take it. I guess the Invincible part doesn't come without some work.

The fact that Mark, an adolescent Viltrumite with basically no training, was able to best Thula (she's very strong in the comics) really shows how much potential Mark has.

2:26 is the moment as a comic reader I been waiting for since the show started. To see mark hold his own against a viltrumite. While I’ve always loved that nolan teaches him the lesson he tried to teach him in season one but in the right way. That you can’t hold back and you have to use your strength to save people not conquer them.

The comics make it even more terrifying. There are some Viltrumites that punch and then their arms explode on contact because their opponent is too strong.

I’m so happy they cast Phil LaMarr as Lucan and Clancy Brown as Kregg. LaMarr’s basically genocidal Green Lantern and Brown is Luthor with Superman powers now. Wonder if the show has cast anyone else that worked Bruce Timm’s DC Animated Universe?

It was so brilliant how they showed the difference between Nolan and Mark by having Mark grab Thulas hair and just throw her into something, Mark shows how its done by grabbing the hair and slamming into something much worse, Nolans elbow!

I like how Omni Man went from "Think Mark! to "Don't think, Act!" And never would I thought to see Kotal Kahn break Omni Man's Back with that Mortal Kombat Move from outta nowhere.

Wonder if all the viltrimites survived this. Lucan had what seemed like the worst injury by far, and still came back a bit later. Wonder if goggles and old lady are coming back too

Considering how Mark survived being absolutely bodied by BB, Thula is probably fine but will need a new jaw, and Mr. Flying with his guts out might be fine as well. Not sure about Vigor tho, bro seems to got his skull caved in and probably suffer severe brain damage.

So I'm just gonna point this out and you can take what you will from it, but this Viltrumite hit Nolan several times without drawing blood, but after he came back the first time, the Immortal was drawing blood from Nolan basically every time he hit him with those same strikes to the face.

It only gets better from here man seeing Invincible and Omniman fighting the Viltrumites just gets me so excited for the future cause it is gonna get even more intense and Violent cause of one characters name that I know fans of the comic series know who I’m talking about Conquest ‘nough said

@@DylanJo123 To be completely fair, war and conquest are all Viltrumites know. Nolan is the first elder Viltrum to question the ancient order of things that we know of. If more of them abandoned their posts following Nolan and Mark’s example, they would deserve mercy too I think, if they intended to reform.

the messed up thing is that I think all 5 of them can recover from these injuries in a matter of days.

Nolan really only wanted Mark to hold off each Viltrumite on Thraxa, not beat them. Nolan knew he could beat each Vitrumite as long as he fought them one at a time. Mark distracted Lucan and held off Thula long enough for Nolan to finish off Vidor. Mark actually did his job successfully on Thraxa

Azula is ruthless in every universe.
