in the comics, WAY later he says that it was a ceremonial thing for viltrumites to rip off the beard to show who they are and its very painful. The fact that he did it without flinching or breaking his stride mid-conversation is VERY thug.

Well, that only applies to males. To be perfectly honest, humans can easily be confused for Viltrumites as well.

Bear in mind that Peter Cullen is at a very, VERY old age now. I am glad enough that he is lending his talent for the role of Thaedus, and I _would_ welcome him returning for the role of Optimus one last time. But given his advanced age, I just want him to enjoy the rest of his days in peace and happiness with his family and friends. _It is the least he deserves for blessing us with the voice of Optimus Prime for sooo many years._

The voice actors on Invincible are incredible and are getting the respect for this show us why we love and grew up with cartoons. To escape the real world to go to Cartoon land where physics and everything is broken and go and do anything by the imagination of the animators, comic book writers.
