Olivier Rioux, the Tallest Teenager in the World, is a Major Basketball Prospect at IMG Academy

Спорт

Olivier Rioux stands at 7'7" tall, making him the tallest teenager in the world. But he knows it takes more than height to be a good basketball player. That's why the Florida commit is putting in extra time at IMG Academy.

If he can have a Shawn Bradley type career, that's a win. Shawn was a solid player that got drafted too high. He doesn't have the mobility and coordination that Wemby has, so his value will be as a space occupier, rebounder, and shot blocker.

A real nice kid, but not mentally crazy about playing basketball, and that could hinder him.....the big men out there are fast and strong, even young Wemby that is thin is real strong...he needs to work hard at getting in shape and especially is wind running up and down the floor....that's why, if he mentally isn't hooked on basketball it will be twice as hard for him....and also confidence in himself has got to set in so he can fight and accumulate agility and quickness....which is very hard at that heigth....wishing him all the best of luck...
