I am 4'11" and people may be surprised at how similar our (short people that is) struggles are with very tall people. Things not made with short (or tall) people in consideration: kitchen counters, bathtubs, chairs that supposedly support the lumber area - haha -, the way shelves are stocked esp. in the grocery store, the height of the table in many restaurants (I'm having chest compressions) and don't even talk about toilets. We, short people, do have one advantage. We actually can stretch our legs out on an airplane. One thing though about my perspective on tall people. After about 5'5", y'all are just tall. I can never judge exact height after that.

And wherever possible, maybe put some kind of buffer for your heads, like pull noodles or guards for edges & things. I mean if it was me I'd be looking for the cheapest most effective ways to solve some of the issues you face as a ta person. If $ is not an issue - then it doesn't necessarily have to be cheap. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am, at 4’ 11.5”, at the opposite end of the spectrum from these lovely people; but, I have always said being either very short or very tall is like opposite sides of the same coin. Seeing where the kitchen cabinets came up to them made me think of how I use a little 3” step to assist me in reaching the “executive height” counters in our kitchen and master bath. I’ll bet that, just like me, they have difficulty getting comfortable in chairs and beds! Nice people! They are welcome to come down and visit me sometime! 😉
