easiest way in answer all the questions is to read the book ..... there are loadsa different adaptions on film,but the best story (obviously) is in the book.

It's a bit funny that Keira Knightley gets these classic roles over and over&they can call it artistic interpretation of the character/era though she is exactly the same here, as Eliza Bennet etc when conveying "love"&much else besides generic playful cheer. She is practically monotone when saying the most crushed, elated, and relieved parts&they can claim it is modesty of the time-she forgets those pretenses only apply when in public&around strangers. Makes her a tragedy within a social drama.

bronlow married edwin leefords sister, but she died. so he has a connection to oliver. but not as much to rose
