Lovely to see these old cars still being raced. And with some you can see where the LMP's started getting away from looking like proper cars to more like spaceships as the modern things do. Nobody can tell me that 917 and the 935's don't look way better than the Porsche 919 of today.
2:22 and there, you can hear the massive sound difference that just a different exhaust can provide between the Aston DBR9 and the Lola Aston Martin B09/60 DBR1-2 which shares the exact same engine :D

It's more than just a different exhaust, the main reason for the sound difference is that the Aston Martin prototype car has a much higher RPM limit and can rev higher than the Aston Martin by car
3:58 is just something else.
That Capri at 14:27 sounds absolutely glorious when it's coming towards you.
Old race cars sound the best
they might only be sixes but my god i think with the proper lighting i could tunnel my way through that beemers header tubes

In the peter auto series they have a new class called endurance legends. So its probably the same here.

I walked past him at Goodwood this year, didn't even realise till it was to late. I stopped in the middle of people walking and gasped.
