Yup, compared to the DTM Mercs which sound tame.

The Ford Capri, it looks so awesome. Great.

The first Renault reminds me of "TOCA 2 Touring Cars"

Fantastic video. What a collection of priceless, automotive icons. My fave has to the Zaxspeed Capri, with the Alfa 155 a very close second. I also saw a very brief glimpse of a Capri RS3100. It's great to see (and hear!) these cars driven as they were intended.

8:00 now that's what I'm talking about; a real racing car from the good old days of Le Mans; flame licking out of the exhaust as it brakes hard for a corner. Just imagine being at the end of the main straight in late evening so the lights are on as well; brakes glowing red hot, flame from the exhaust and brake lights on. What a sight. And that next one; a Mondeo no less. Just bought a Scalextric model of one of those though not that particular livery.

Love seeing the old touring cars driven in anger again. Glorious, especially the wailing Alfa 155 V6. Now, if I could make my 155 V6 sound like that...

37nezy Indeed dude, I basically compared it to the Zonda R. Both has the same fantastic acute melody but it seems to lose noise/dB when on track... Thank you!

I never knew to much about that event now i have to there next year. It's lika a german Goodwood. Great footage Bozzy.

When I was a preteen I used to call those alfas "stair masters" because I thought the front end aaero treatment looked like a flight of stairs.

I wish modern day DTM looked more like modded street cars like these do rather than the bespoke race cars they look like now. Modern DTM's sure are cool though still.

@5:43 if the f1 v6’s sounded like that, I would be fine with it. That Alfa has that f1 v6 sound but this actually sounds good

What a sound of Alfa 155 V6 TI amazing . I do have Lexus ( private) and I did drive many cars like Porsche 911 turbo , Ferari 430, NIsan GT-R ( stock car and tuned with almost 1700 HP ) , Aston Martin , BMW M3 ( inline 6 ) , BMW M5 ( V10 engine ) , but nothing sounds like this Alfa. But from all cars that I did try here in USA , the BMW M5 V10 sounds the best ( the closest to Alfa ) , and NIsan GT-R is far the fastest car than anything else I did try . And my sisters older son , was at race track whan the fastest NIsan GT-R on planet try to break record on 1/4 mile . He was a vary close to the record time . And record is I think stil 6.84 sec and this GT-R has around 3500+ HP and get 341 km/h for this time

that lola mazda b12 almost sounds like the 919
