I'm a little sad the water was removed from the final points on Gullywash, because the idea of seeing a player staring at you from underneath the glass, as you leave spawn is really funny.

Gunter TF2 Video is super epic, editing has a good tempo, voice-over are not boring, script are good and have interesting topic, and that little penguin is not annoyingly everywhere like in the most videos with drawn characters. Video is just great, and the channel is extremely underrated

Gullywash is a very old map, the original version, called cp_worselands, having been made in late 2008/ early 2009; hence these very Quake/UT-like volumes.

real
I have played TF2 for awhile now but I only started getting into it at Jungle Inferno on, and it always amazed me that there was a weapon made to deal crits to wet players despite the fact there's a very very limited selection of maps that can wet players. My thought that it was because the older maps had more water was what I first thought about but as I played more i notized most didn't have water. Realising now that these maps did have water suddenly makes a lot more sense and it's a shame to see that disappear over time. Would've been neat if some more classes had a similar interaction. I am not a person who is great at proposing TF2 weapon or balance ideas beyond concepts but I could easily see a Revolver for Spy that delt crits or mini crits on wet players as part of a "Frogman" set would've been fitting considering French saboteur divers being a trope and one that fits Spy well and perhaps some other classes have other interactions too.
@Dynam_

I mean the big reason pyro gets an underwater based weapon is because none of their primary weapons can shoot underwater, so you gain a massive downside when chasing a player into water. However, you can subvert that with the neon annihilator’s very specific interaction
1:48 thatd be a good april fools day map

Wonder why on Gullywash, that the dropdown between the balcony area on 2nd, and elbow/banana got grated up. The decal arrows on the balcony are still there as if they want you to drop down from it. Atleast splash damage goes through the grate to damage any buildings the unaware engineer placed ontop of it.

@@Dynam_ "This is Faust from the guiltily gear series and @dingus’s special little guy. He is a doctor who used magic during his operations and would almost gain the ability to cure any ailment. This would all fall apart when one of his patients fell ill and despite trying everything would die. This sent Faust into near insanity and after using almost all his magic to try and fix her he sort of ‘overloaded’ and went fully crazy. He would then become a killer under the mantle of ‘baldhead’ since he is bald (very creative). After some time it’s revealed that the patient died not due to his lack of ability but as a ploy via this universes CIA as the magic Faust was making would be too good basically. Faust gets some of his sanity back and dawns his iconic paper bag and now is determined to help everyone, dawning a more cartoonish personality and genuinely helping many people on screen and off. At the end of the most recent game -strive- he would undergo another magical overload draining a lot of his physical form and losing some of that cheeriness from before"
