Good day. These videos really have helped me discover the Bible in a very immersive way and I am very thankful God has given you this creative yet overly sensible and sensitive approach to reading into the Scriptures I do wanna point out that you have not mentioned Ruth in this particular video. Was the book part of the Ketuvim as a Wisdom Scroll like Job or just an interesting "side quest" historical account of how Israel became what it was known to be? Ruth could never be part of the Nevi'im right? An answer to this will definitely relax my overthinking mind. Thank you ang Godbless

I'm an ex-Muslim who has been attached to the bible and the character of Jesus recently. Although I am filled with confusion and doubts, I'm trying really hard to understand the teachings of Jesus and the history of Israel. All I'm asking for is your prayers and hopes. Cheers.

Where in the Bible is it written that Ezra resurrected by himself, I've looked him up but couldn't find anything.. Jesus did forgive sins (Matthew 9:2 and Mark 2:5 just to name a few) and your quote disproves nothing, since Jesus referred to himself as a servant in life. After he died on the cross and gained eternal life he became one with the father. Also there is John 14:6

@@KrisLearns watch the videos on the book of Revelation. The mark of the beast isn't what a lot of people think. It's a symbol, like most images in prophecy are.

Even though I am Catholic, I just wanted to say that you guys have been such an enormous help to me. These videos have really deepened my understanding of the faith. Glory to God

Catholics, Orthodox, and almost all Protestants except the outliers like Mormons, all believe the Nicene creed. The common ground is enormous. Let us focus first and foremost on our common Christianity, not on divisions originating in past political power struggles.

You should read the Torah / to not just for its own sake my friend there is no worries if you read both there is much to learn from both that even the church would not have you know unless you read for your own understanding, but some are aware and others are not. I pray you find all the truth you're looking for on your journey!

As someone who has had a hard time reading and trying to understand the Bible, this stuff is very much appreciated! God bless you and bring you good fortune, folks!

I think we all have a hard time reading the Bible. You’re not alone. I have had a lot of help praying that God will help me understand what I’m reading and give me peace on what I read and don’t understand. Prayer and supplication in all things! The Lord will help you!

When you consider how all these books were written & put together - over thousands of years, by all different types of authors from various places & walks of life, & how it tells one consistent, coherent story throughout - what else can such a thing be, but divine? It's mind blowing!

There's nothing divine about the the laws mentioned in Exodus... (the ones concerning slavery)

I have been reading the Bible my whole life and you just made it come more alive for me! I knew there were loads of connections but I didn't realise this many! Thanks so much for these amazing videos that point me to the richness of God's Word.

@@juliev7046 i don't believe that. Pretty general statement. Often, their tales are very similar in ways to Biblical stories. I was surprised. Even other shows or movies i have seen on TV are retelling some basics from the Bible. The violence upsets me terribly, but not as a child...not sure why, but if you read the Bible, there is graphic gruesome violence. And i would bet that there are many Christians working for Disney.

Mondo Cool Sometimes he did (the 'this is what the Lord says') bits. But most of the time he didn't - because saying 'God told them' would imply that they were just taking down dictation. It's important to teach young kids the truth - greatly simplified of course! I once heard someone say that what we teach should be 'distilled, not watered down'. The phrasing I've ended up with is something like: " Whether or not God told them exactly what to say, God's Holy Spirit guided them so that what they wrote was what God wants us to know."

I don’t think people can really understand how valuable this work/channel is. This Is Pure Gold!!! We Are Truly Blessed That God Has Chosen You & Your Team To Bring Us This Information In This Way. We know these videos took time to all come together but geez every second is so worth it. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏾...👼🏾❤️👼🏼 God Is With You!

There's always hope...it takes more faith to be an agnostic...just look at YOU...your own body...your brain...you telling me this is from evolution? No friend, it is from God. Believe. The evidence is overwhelming.

I want to thank you guys so much for these videos and the work you put in to produce them. I just finished reading through the Old Testament for the first time, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of these videos. I always got hung up in Numbers or Deuteronomy. I just couldn't get through the hard language and harder ideas. I pray the Lord continue to bless this project and the people working on it. You guys are truly helping so many of us.

I have been a follower of the Lord for nearly 40 years and never had a clue about this incredible structure of the Tenak until today. Thank you Bible Project for this blessing and for all of the great work you do. God bless.

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and watching these videos has taught me more about the bible than they ever did.

I’m Catholic and I just love The Bible Project. I try to watch at least one video every night. 💕

I’ve been a Jesus follower for a few years now and have been focusing more on the New Testament. I’m reading the Old Testament too but never, ever imagined it to be the way you describe it! Thank you so much for the enlightenment. May God continue to bless you all

So glad I found out about The Bible Project. I'm always excited to learn more on what I read in the Word.

This is a great serie. I found the spanish version of this channel, but I am already reading in spanish. I’ll watch in english to help me preach in english if it’s the will of God. Many people say that God is a made up figure that only one book talk about. What they overlook is that one book was actually a ton of scrolls put together by later people. But the fact that the ton of scrolls seem like one unified book could be the proof that God was always behide it.

The prophesy is the Word will be preached to the four corners of the world, made before the world was known to be any bigger than the Mediterranean sea really. Now it's EVERYWHERE, just like it was promised to be. It's in Europe, Asia, Australia, the US, South America and now the revival is in Africa and even India. The Bible, and this is important, is basically one of the only religions that has broken down the barrier of Culture (If it was Hindu, any non-Indian would be a Gentile, Shinto would be any non-Japanese). Nearly all of the worlds Christians are Gentiles just like the Word said it would do.... go out to the Gentiles...….. If we want to call it one book (of which it's many of course) It's an absolute number one seller, there's more out there than any other book ever written and more are produced than any other book ever has been or will be. Literally Billions and well.... there's Billions to reach and feed amongst the fed. Bless you all :)

Great video! I appreciate the rich Jewish history of OT. I LOVE this channel, honestly, its one of the few best Christian channels that bother explaining the historical context,etc unlike some others that just want to read it through 21st century Western eyes. Thank you for explaining the Torah. I always wanted to know about it and it's connection to the Bibles we read now. It was interesting to learn about the scribes and the writing of the scrolls. The explanations are so clear. I truly enjoyed and listened to this information along with the pictures, it made the Bible history plain.
